WNIR is an absolute joke and that’s no pun. They suck! It is boring filled with commercials very little talk. Standby in Maggie Fuller Jim midock,. You’re funny those were the days. But WNIR today is absolute garbage The Morning Show is horrid Joyce Johnson needs to go and go back to being a secretary. Phil Ferguson can stay he’s the only one worth listening to. So glad Steve French is gone he was turning into a left-wing retard. Because global warming is fake Steve. They basically get a half an hour break every hour because it’s nothing but commercials and top of the news and announcements it’s a horrible horrible show and also they make the hosts work on Saturday which none of the hosts like it’s a joke of a radio station now it’s laughable but not in a good way.

Someone posted an aircheck on jinglemad.com of this being used in 2018! I miss hearing jingles like this, on both radio and TV.

About 1987 '88? I remember listening to "Dial A Date" on the drive home from work and hearing this jingle sometimes 3 or 4 times in a row when Jim was taking a bathroom break or outside for a smoke. I'll probably be singing this in the nursing home someday, burned in permanently.

My son and I were out in the garage that night imbibing and couldn't believe what we heard on the radio.. Truly great man.

Yeah Tom Erickson would play alot of these themes right after KSU games..how I got some of the instrumentals too

This is the first time I've heard this in full. I know this Jingle Package started out as a TV Theme at WFAA in Dallas TX and grew to other stations. I'm so glad the Klaus has never changed to another Jingle Package. This is jingle package will is WNIR and always will be.

Numbers didn't mean anything. Two more WNIR themes have been uploaded. Since i have to make "Movies" of them it takes me being patient from both jobs to take the time to just basically upload an MP3 with a slide attached! thank u bc I have alot more bumpers I've caught..well a few more at least

Oh you it didn't even cross my mind about this one. This was simply originally a video of the construction zone on taking you eastbound on 224 to 76/77 and back to 224. But I didn't even realize what I had playing in the background!

That would be so nice if we could hear more in the future..what a difficult time...I listened to his show the Friday before his trip and I had the worst feeling. It was the way he ended a call from somebody, I thought it was you or couch burner. That's when my heart sank. I think he knew he wasn't feeling well...I miss his voice..My daughter and I are going to the Waterloo for breakfast in honor of Howie..

I wish I had at least something with his voice. All I have is a similar Joe Finan intro and a couple instrumentals I caught on a night Erickson was having trouble with the Kent feed so he played themes and I had a recorder. So I have a few IDs and the full vocal theme song, and a full instrumental, and one that has a WNIR ID meshed with the closing theme used by Howie /Golic/Erickson right as the hour ends. and a Finan opener.

I'm kind of hoping the station will at least leave us a commercial or two with Howies voice, something!
