Hello, Very nice explanation i applied load of 10 users and loop count is infinity i added synchronising timer and i kept 20000ms as timeout while applying load some users are waiting for 20 sec and they are getting timeout expectations i want to know that on what reason they are getting timeout exception whether are we getting error 404 or for other reason they are facing they are so much load time how to know the reason why they are unable to process request less than 20 sec Thank you in advance

It only works for 1 VU and multiple iterations. BUt doesn't work once when we declare multiple users and multiple iterations. Given 4 VUs in above scenario, then once only controller works for 4 times, although we need to to run only once.

How to control throughput for stepping thread group? If I try with same configs as yours except, I maintain the load for 450 seconds, the throughput reaches up to 700-800 requests per second, causing the app to crash. Even if we keep everything else unchanged and reduce the starting threads to 10 from 50, the throughput reaches up to 700-800 RPS. Is there any mathematical calculation to achieve desired throughput? My requirement is 55 RPS.

Hi sir, i want to add a delay between two controllers under my thread group containing different HTTP requests, so I tried applying the constant timer and think time. But the issue I am facing is that when I try to run my script with more than 1 thread the delay is not getting applied for a second time and it executes the requests immediately for eg I have below script Thread group - Transaction controller 1 - HTTP request 1 - Delay - Transaction controller 1 - HTTP request 2 When I set the user count as 2 and run it executes as below HTTP request 1 HTTP request 1 waits for specified delay and then immediately executes the request 2 HTTP request 2 HTTP request 2 But I want it should execute like HTTP request 1 HTTP request 1 delay HTTP request 2 delay HTTP request 2 what I need to do for this result?

Hi, in my jmeter I need to pass cookie data from one thread group to another with the help of beanshell pre and post processor I am able to pass the cookie data after extraction. Problem I am facing is for each login we have different session I'd and after login we navigate to different services. Even though I get different session I'd for each login when I navigate to services it is taking only one session I'd not other I'd based on logins. How to solve this issue? Any suggestions will be appreciated!!

Hi sir, I want to design an API load test (REST API) using JMeter. This is example scenario: For the first test run, we want to run 1000 virtual users, ramp-up 30 mins, hold target rate time (sustain load 1k users) for 1 hour, and lastly ramp-down 30 mins. How do I apply this design test? I'm pretty confused whether to use Concurrency Thread Group or Ultimate Thread Group because Concurrency Thread group don't have the Step Down feature.

You provide the 30 user in thread group but in the summary report the sample is like more then 30 user why?

Thank you for the tutorial sir, i have one challenge here. I have three http request(Request1,Request3 and Request3). So Request1- Get the token key for authorization Request2- Using tokeny key from request1 we can get the customer name Request3- Using tokeny key from request1 we can get the customer email id So in the No of threads field, if i enter 2. All the Request1,Request2 and Request3 will be executed twice. I want Request1- To get executed only once, irrespective on the no of threads i enter Request2- 2 times it should execute Request3- 2 times it should execute How to achieve the above scenario. can anyone help me on this please.

Great explanation. However I keep myself not using this timer because of some of so many config values to be provided. Its quite clear. now I have a question: My scenario is To ramp up my desired load in 2 hours and then followed by continuous load for 12 hours(endurance) with frequent spike for 5 to 10 mins at every 1 hour. In my situation - I have already reached my max users at my end of ramp up. Now I cant add and remove the users anymore to introduce spike(in loadrunner, we have option to do this). Now only option is reduce the delay for 5 to 10 mins and then bring the delay to normal. Is there any way to achieve this?
