These videos where you don’t talk are fucking retarded.
thanks so much for this!
People use their tap water for soups, pasta, ice cubes coffee tea, etc. The liver has to process these INORGANIC minerals. Like eating rocks and dirt btw. Would you eat an iron nugget? Only plants can break down inorganic minerals (metals) with their enzymes and convert to organic. Just FYI.
spraying wd 40 gotrdone so thanks. but lose the music
Wow Never thought of rebuild the box.interestng I have like three of these. New wiring 500 560 i believe was about 7bills
Sir, your video solved my problem. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Grow sprouts, microgreens, baby greens, in water etc indoors in winter!
Thank you for sharing this!! Very helpful to see the backside and all the various ways the terminals come out. We all benefit from you blazing a trail and showing us all the ways things can break!
Are you a Navy Man? Anyway thanks for the video I have a 65 c10 you got to take off the tail shaft
It is a 12” swing lathe not a 6” . They are measured based on how big you can swing a piece. The machines manual actually says on first page and I actually have a similar one in my shop , great little machine.
very common prob in these old cars, I suppose. My 66 el camino is exhibiting weird electrical issues and I noticed the eng compartmt plugs will not snap down tightly anymore. New fuse block is in my future, just hate to pull that dash out again. Note to new project guys: replace ALL that old wiring while you got it apart!!!
The reason the light is an issue is you're supposed to use a 3 prong flasher, so the light only turns on when you turn on the hazard switch or either direction for turn signals. Trying to cheat and use a 2 prong flasher with blue and black wires combined makes the light stay on all of the time.
Red should only b on with hazards. I made the same mistake wiring one of these 900 flashers in my ‘78 CJ5. At least it reminded me to turn the dang thing off after making a turn😅 There’s another newer / different model with a horn button at end of the stalk if you’re looking to add a horn😎
I actually watched the whole video, and thinking to myself that's pretty interesting!!
I've been trying to bleed these brakes for a week and nothing comes out. I just figured it out. The truck had no brakes when I bought it. I took the mastercylinder off and found that there was a casting error in the cylinder that didn't allow fluid into the cylinder. The divits were there but they were never drilled through to let the fluid through. This is the second time in my life this has happened to me. There should be 2 holes per cylinder.
I took my line off the master cylinder (make sure you take the line off for the brakes and not the clutch, they are reversed, look under the dash) then I blew the lines out with an air compressor starting with the closest and working my way back. Its a good way to check for plugs.
I couldn't find any around my home but when I went to my doctor's office I saw two little plants that where growing next to their bushes so I brought them home to grow them and collect the seeds for next year. Hopefully the ones I have planted will spread naturally as well..
Wow, thanks for the insightful video. Your patience is immense.
Did you spray that on a wet or humid day? I did with the undercoat and had the same rest, but when I took the piece and sprayed it with no humidity it dried normally
Not humid in this area at all. Very good point though.....
Have a 63 c10 with the same issue
@lifestylemodification where did you get your new shaft?
Very cool, I'm getting ready to grind off the rivets on my k10. Gotta make it clean like yours!
Super helpful! Just bought a 66 Grand Prix, only some of the electronics work. Lots of rust in the fuse panel.
Stop the music, its not needed and very distracting.
Just paint the red plastic piece black so the light still shines through on the signal spots and not too bright on the red
lol you have to stand up on it to brake
much smaller than a 69 box. This video will help on my c-10.

Hey brother! Could you email me your diagram? Currently rebuilding with the pops!
go to rmcavoy.freeshell.org he has all diagrams. good luck on your build
Had similar problem with Moen single handle shower faucet. Except the problem was getting out the single Allen screw. Took a long 7/64 Allen wrench. Since the long arm had to be used to reach the screw, only the short arm of the wrench was available to twist. Minimal leverage and like to cut through my flesh before the screw would turn. I had to hold the Allen wrench with pliers. After being delicate for a while, fearing I’d damage it or strip the screw head, anger kicked in and I twisted so hard thar the steel of the long shaft of the Allen wrench was twisting. I was afraid it would suffer some kind of torsion fracture or something. But it held together and finally the screw began to move. Took about 5 full rotations using pliers before fingers would suffice. Ridiculous. That calcification issue is a major obstacle to work on someof this stuff. I feel your pain.
Thanks for your video
Really good video. Thanks for revealing the truth to the world. 👍❤ I actually bought two, and tried it out and.. yes it's absolutely crap.
That is a rubber seat at the bottom of the M/C and it is removeable. It even comes in the rebuild kits.
And it removable with a crochet hook or similar.
Lettering by using a stamp and ink pad might work ? Small letters.
Did you need to shut the water down in order to remove that second screw (which holds together the black plastic piece)? Mine broke (the handle came out along with the piece your holding up while saying "vinager") and I can't figure out but it seems like the water wouldn't leak if I removed the black plastic piece
It's been so long since repair. I do believe I turned off the water shut off valve under the sink....one for cold and one for hot Good luck
@@lifestylemodificatio thank you! I ended up shutting off the water valves and after removing tried out reopening the water just to find out, and it turns out the water won't leak, so no need to shut the water off for that particular piece removal. In case anybody is curious, the replacement kit for that black piece is parts number 100429. I got it for 5 dollars from amazon and it came with the black plastic piece, the handle screw, the big screw and the metal part which we stick through the black part (and holds the handle). Thank you so much for your video!!
@@cleberz8072 I am glad that it worked out for ya. Being able to workout projects at home can save money and time. UA-cam can be a good resource and I am glad it helped...

good color for that
Thanks I chose it so that I can see oil leaks in the future. Color black hides leaks
Those valve covers are for vortec heads? What brand and where did you get them? Love em!
Yup, they be brand new vortec heads with vortec valve covers. Been a while since I bought them. Some no name website. I can try to look later and if I find out I will let ya know.. they were a great price too, like $80
Yeah I want classic look w/ more modern head! Ideal for my 283 or 327 would be non-breather valve covers and your intake but with the oil filler/vent tube. This really makes me want to swap to a 327!
@@63Imp283 I looked through my emails last with no success in finding history of purchase. I will check again later and update if I find something. I too like the old school look 👍 Good luck with your project...
@@lifestylemodificatio thanks for the reply, definitely some extra cost going this route. Might go with a free set of 416s for a budget build
@@63Imp283 DAM THOSE BUDGETS!
Thanks!
Wish you would shown the whole thing!

The truck has a 1963 C-10 hood and grill And if it is a 1960 that someone changed the front on. Then it's a 1960 Apache-10 NOT a Apache C10. The Apache-10 name was dropped and C10 name started in 1962.
My friend, you saved me. For thr life of me I could not figure out how to attach the black plastic piece to that assembly until I saw your video. It was easy breezy after that
I am glad to hear that 👍
What size hex screw is it? I'm hoping 7/64 because that's what I just ordered. My Moen faucet handle is super loose. Looks a lot like yours.
Don't recall off hand but it was an odd ball size. U might be right.... Best I can do is check tomorrow
@@lifestylemodificatio 7/64 is correct.
@@Mr.Worf63 grats! good luck....
Thanks for the video, where did you find your replacement gear/shaft?
I have this exact transmission that has gear problems and needs disassembly and repair, thanks for the video. Where did you get your manual? Did you figure out how to get it apart?
I downloaded manual from the internet. The washers in between the needle bearings were hanging up and binding both shafts together. I had to use a good old hammer to separate them. I had to clean up/repair each shaft from the binding damage too. I also found that 2nd gear was busted so I had to replace it which was a pain to remove...wait for video
Awesome! Thanks for the reply, glad to hear you got it worked out
Th diagram has a “p” on
That p stands for pink.
