    LMAO... the Falcons are trash. Penix Jr. does not make them a better team at all. He is not even an NFL caliber QB.

      You can't quantify a player "not being an NFL caliber QB" when he's yet to play in an NFL game yet. There have been many quarterbacks that weren't supposed to be successful (think Kurt Warner, Drew Brees, Tom Brady), yet they once they found their stride, became some of the best in the game. Hating the Falcons is one thing, hating on a rookie before he's playing a single snap in a live-action professional football game doesn't make any sense.

    That said, nice look, and yeah Falcons doing falcons things. Its like you got back Matt Ryan, and drafted Desmond Ridder in the first round with all that talent still on the board. Well, lets hope they hit on this one, they have hit on things that seemed questionable at the time before, they may have let Brett Farve go but they still drafted him, right? One thing about Cousins is that he was going to be dangerous wherever he went, that is a good move and he can play good cold from the bench. Penix doesn't look like the kind that will stay healthy to be fair. Almost like we have a drafting Robert Griffin in the first round and cousins in the 4th again. lol It has to be tough to be a die hard Falcons fan. Much respect! Well done on the video here!

    Nah nah nah let me stop you right there. Wilson, who had a good head coach, was played to his strengths last season, and lost his starting job. Then he was let go despite they would pay him to not be there. A desperate broncos that needed him to be decent, and a coach to make that happen, couldn't get him to work. Anyone that thinks they can are delusional. It has been made clear what Russell struggles with and it stems from height. The man can't see a lot of the field. DLs out there being 6-3-to 6-8 start at being 5 inches taller than him, and they got arms that can reach to almost 8 foot. If you cannot exploit the middle of the field whenever the D wants to force you to, its jover. He doesn't have the quick twitch to make it out of the pocket like he used to. This is why Geno flourished, the dude is tall. There is way more to it than that, but FFS not sure why anyone thinks otherwise. Same for poor Kyler, that man has done amazing things in his prime days, but also missed tons of time for it. Cardinals be doing cardinals things unfortunately. Ok, rant over lets see what you have to say about Justin.

    I have to start out by saying that I haven't watched a game since they lost the Super Bowl loss. At that same time, the elected officials in Texas were debating a "Transgender" bathroom bill--and the league let it be known that if passed... the Lone Star State would never get another Super Bowl. As someone who grew up in South Louisiana and rooted for the Falcons, the video opens up talking about the fact that they have the longest tenure without a title. That may be true, but the "Saints" had to break rules--and probably bones to win theirs.

Suggestion: google names followed with the word “pronunciation” or UA-cam search the player to hear how others pronounce or look on wiki: Calais Malik Campbell[1] (/kɑːˈleɪɪs/ kah-LAY-iss;[2] born September 1, 1986) is an American football defensive end for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). Not complaining. It’s a high quality, well-made & edited video so just offering a tip. Impressive & rivals content professional big media puts out. Great job. 👍

    As a Lions fan I understand how y’all feel. Since drafting Stafford the Lions never established anything around him aside from Calvin Johnson and a few seasons with a half decent defense. I feel like that’s what the Falcons have done for a while more or less. Y’all have a decent team just gotta draft a QB and take off this upcoming year.

      You have to understand: team owners are _business_ owners. They don't know, understand _or _*_trust_* coaches who are good for players because they don't trust players. They see them as employees, coaches as the supervisors that keep them in line For Capitalism. This is why Rich Bisacchia got pushed aside for Josh McDaniels, a guy so insecure he undermined the Whole Team just to push out the clubhouse leader. He didn't get fired for shoving out their *only starting QB.* Bisacchia was let go for being player-friendly. So it's hardly just an ATL thing. Why does Matt Patricia keep getting work? Because he talks s***, repeats empty bluster & carries through on it. He can't do his job, but he comes off as everything a business-owner would want in a supervisor: tyrannical traits.

    the falcons might pursuit Kirk Cousins who is 36 and coming off of a Achilles injury over a 24 year old who has tons of upside. Yes, the falcons don't have culture, but what's worse is the falcons take the easiest decision and make it extremely difficult. Only the falcons can find a way to falcon up something.

    • @ColeIsBarelyAlive
      @ColeIsBarelyAlive 5 місяців тому

      Kirk isn’t a bad option IF we draft a rookie to sit under him for a few years. He couldn’t be the long term solution, but I’d rather us draft a QB anyway and let them learn from an experienced veteran.

    • @choosecarefully408

      How about getting a potential franchise QB _AND_ top-5 WR duo instead? I think that too many people see the off-season as getting one player per trade or deal. We don't know if Cousins can return to form. The Falcons need more than Just A QB to truly contend in a league with the Chiefs. They have been wasting Pitts, London & Robinson. Wanna see them with the most exciting offense in the NFL? Package the #8 pick this year with whatever else is needed to trade for Justin Fields. _AND_ D.J. Moore. I'll explain. Fields isn't a bust. Wins & losses depend on offense, defense, special team _and play-calling_ & coaching. Of all fan bases, the Falcons' should understand this last thing. (Kyle Shanahan _STILL_ has this weird habit of completely changing how he calls games about 5 minutes into the 2nd half. What was winning before, he abandons). If Matt Eberflus isn't intentionally sabotaging Fields, then I don't know what to say. If _ANY OTHER QB HAD_ suddenly started staring at instead of passing to open receivers, even a back-up, they'd be taken into the blue tent & looked at. Fields did this but didn't look uncomfortable or rattled. Why wasn't a Single Bears Staffer concerned *or surprised* that he didn't pass to open receivers? 'Cause maybe he wasn't doing anything they didn't ask him to do? A few weeks into this new tendency he said publicly "I don't know what my coaches expect of me." Again, what other team hears their starting QB say this & *does nothing?* a team that wants him in this state. So now we have to look at everything he has done under this coaching staff who deliberately confound him differently. Despite all this, he made the Bears The #1 Offense for 3 weeks straight. His passing numbers to D.J. Moore & Cole Kmet from '23 are _élite_ letting us know it's the other receivers, & play-calling, not him, _AND_ he has his legs besides. Go look at any highlight reel of his. The very same plays that fail on the Bears he made in college. It isn't him. So, if his downsides aren't him & the upsides are, he's anywhere in the great to élite range & right now the Bears can't _give him away._ If his numbers are élite to Moore & Kmet *despite* his own coaches acting against him, imagine what they'd be like passing to Moore, *Pitts, Robinson & **_London_* on a team *trying to win!* Moore is in the same tier as any WR still left on the board at #8. Fields is better than any 2nd-string WR AND/OR a late-round draft pick can be. Both can impact this team & make them the #1 offense in the league Right Now, combined cost less than Cousins & still have years left in their careers. Since Moore vocally supports Fields, they likely want him out too but can't admit it. Anything they package _with_ the #8 pick for Moore the Bears can spin into "we got a _3rd_ 1st-round pick in the top-10 for just D.J. Moore" & save face. The Bears get a new toy. The Falcons get the best offense in the league. It's a decent deal.

    I think The Life of Pablo has great examples of the entire series of what you’re talking about. Intro - UltralightBeam Interlude - Low Lights Ending - Saint Pablo The whole project has this weird wacky juxtaposed nature. It’s a “swearing gospel” album, the cover is a pic of family and his wife’s ass. The album goes from super hyped up epic tracks that are hip hop bangers and gospel praise ballads to fuckin depressing songs like FML Real Friends Wolves. Now I know how this may sound to some people. But I swear, hear me out on this. Kanye just has this way of juxtaposing things in the most epic way. He smashes 2 things right next to each other and they just somehow work. Here’s the crazy part for me. Kanye wasn’t even going to do music! He was going to be a video game designer and a visual artist! That’s how he started off! This is important because if you understand that and also understand that he isn’t an actual musician, as he has stated on multiple occasions, his music starts to make sense. He doesn’t see scales and chords, he works off just some way of macro collage making. That’s the key part hear me out. He said that he paints with music. And he literally isn’t sitting at the piano or guitar playing chords like most other musicians. He allows musicians to do their thing, and takes their performances and just paints via collage method. I feel like the biggest example is Low Lights. Out of nowhere your thrust into what seems like a giant hall. A woman starts talking in such a captivating tone you can tell she means every word she says. A well thought out Piano chord progression loops out and accompanies her. A Delay is cranked so it sounds like she is in a giant hall. A 808 with grit sounds a slight counter melody to add that little extra umph. It feels warm. Like your sitting in a crowd at a banquet and everyone is dressed in suit and ties and drinking champagne and you have no idea what your doing there but you feel warm from her voice and what she’s saying. She speaking to your soul. He ripped it off a house track is the crazy part. A little part of an old record he sampled and put it in the utmost forefront. IT’s function of an interlude just works and I feel like it is one of thee most creative powerful interludes that I never skip. Lastly, I used to never be able to put together what made Kanye’s albums so great. Because they are cohesive and coherent in their own way. For example, Jon Bellion as you mentioned in the video. He is an actual musician who knows basic chord progressions and scales. So he approaches music that way. “The Human Condition” has a very distinctive coherent feel but as the listener you can tell each song is crafted from that standpoint. At the very least the feel is different. But the thing with Kanye and artists who sample heavy. What I feel like is accomplished each song is like eating a dish that is made with completely different ingredients. For example: A generic artist who plays the piano will start every song with the piano. Kanye will start his song with anything at his disposal. Mainly sampling. So for the sake of my argument, Would you rather have chicken in every dish for 12 songs? Or dig into a different dish every song. That’s what I feel separates Kanye from a Jon Bellion. With Jon Bellion I feel like I’m digging into chicken in every dish but it’s cooked a different way. But with Kanye I feel like I’m digging into Caviar here. Lobster there, some rare delicacy from planet Bozon here, a drop of the sun to drink on this one, and water from the fountain of youth over here. I hope my point came across. I just feel like what I’m talking about should be articulated so people can better appreciate making music in different ways and how it can lead to mind blowing results. And a side note, someone like Mac miller is even harder to describe because he’s an actual musician AND he sampled. So he would be this other unique crazy blend. GOOD AM is my favourite project from him and I think it should be considered one of the best of all time. The whole album is conceptual. It starts with a crazy opening and the structure is unbelievable. It ends in death too. GOOD AM is an album just waiting to be understood by the mainstream.
