Yes it work. Simply rotate the scan to the same view and pick some comman points. Make sure both scans have those same points

@@xile6 but can you still use the feature alignment like you do in your videos? When i use it i cant rotate it.

@@pistontimegarage feature alignment will automatically merge them the best it can. Rotating it wont matter. Marker alignment is best if you wont line up. Also possible you need to scan more of an overlap to get them to merge together

Depends on the item. In marker mode the should be very little to no trail. In featured mode. They might be a small trail if it lost tracking. A very small amount will be fixed in processing the point cloud. Alot of trail means it is lossing tracking of the main item.

@@xile6 yeah I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've tried everything from adjusting the lighting, adjusting the distance spraying with aesub, painting flat white. I can't get this thing to give me a good scan on just about anything. And I'm scanning very basic shapes. It's not like there's any intricate geometry it's trying to work around

@@thegoudaguymikey oddly enough basic shapes are the hardest. Scanners dont see how we do. They need distinct features to hold tracking, or it all looks the same to them. Did you try in marker mode with markers on the table and some on the item if need.

Hi this video os pretty old. They updated the software to where you can turn off QR reading. It is not needed any more. But it would tell you if you have the wrong plate on the printer

@@xile6 Which I thought was 'for beginners' like training wheels, but I've been 3D printing for over a decade and I still forget which plate I put on so I leave the feature check on still. Thanks for the QR codes!!!

Are you talking about the right layer slider? If so it is based on your layer height

8 parts? This file is only 4 parts. 1 for each color

Id have to see the model. But with modifier shapes. You should be able to make some the size you need and place it in the model. Then change the color settings for that area

Yes it works with the P2. Some of the code is s little different. But should be outlined in the video and the website

There is a code to be added for accessory mode..i did hear that some people have gotten connected mode to work with klipper. But i have more checked into it. The code for p3 is ;P2PP ACCESSORYMODE_MAFX And for p2 it is ;P2PP ACCESSORYMODE_MAF

@@xile6 Thanks. I did actually see that mentioned elsewhere and tested it. It does work. So I was able to get this working in in Accessory Mode today. Also I got it working on QIDI Slicer for my X Smart 3 that runs Klipper. I suspect this will work with the other forks of Prusa Slicer like Orca Slicer. I also did not need to manually transfer the files to the Palette or the Printer via a SD or USB. As you know it automatically transfers the .mcfx or in this case the .mafx file to the Palette. But for the .gcode used in the printer you can manually transfer / upload it via the Slicer itself, if the slicer is connected to the printer via WiFi. Besides adding the ;P2PP ACCESSORYMODE_MAFX code, what I also did was I changed the output in Print Settings to .gcode at the end instead of .mcfx or .mafx. This helped created a usable gcode file as it was making one that was not usable at all for me. Not sure what that was the case but that changed fix it for me. Now, when exporting it saves both a usable gcode and .mafx in a folder on my desktop or wherever you chose to have it. At the same time it transfer that .mafx to the Palette do to the ;P2PP P3_UPLOADFILE code. I then just go into the DEVICE tab of QIDI Slicer and to get into Fluidd and then under Jobs I manually uploaded / transferred that .gcode file to the printer. So Everything works great now. Only things I want to look into next is how to tweak the Pauses caused by the Pings and also find a way to save my Purge Volumes if that is even possible. :P

They only time ive gotten that error. Is when the prime tower was to close to the file. Or you have a multi body part that is overlapping. With hueforge. There should be no overlapping bodies.

Yea you can trigger single shot with this.

All hand held scanning. The shoe was on a turntable. The Mini2 is higher detail then Miraco near mode. The Mini 2 does need scanning spray for more items since it is structured light versus IR

I did recalirate but the quatily and tracking is the same before and after. If are not using marker mode. The dots on the turn table are not really enough to track. I made a vido about this before. "Losing tracking and now knowing" As for the undo button. You can undo as long as you are in the scanning window. Once you go edit mode. You can no longer undo the data. But you can import the raw data to PC or Mac revoscan v5. And edit the raw data there. Removing the last frames. Or any bad frames. Ill make a video on raw data editing when i get some free time. It can be a powerfull tool.

I have been sent to ask you, did you go get your MIRACO yet? It's been a hour already. Time Management. Oh, did you calibrate your scanner yet? I have not dont that to mine as of yet and think I might need to to increase its tracking stability of objects to avoid a blurring effect.

If yoy dont have an AMS it will not be set as change filament. It will just say pause. Then you have to manually unload and load the filament when it pauses

First mode was feature tracking. And it is part of the video to show others what they are doing wrong. Reason for starting in feature mode.

Also you do not need to use marker mode on both scans to merge them together. One scan can be marker mode and the other feature mode. It can even be from a different scanner

@@xile6Although marker mode won't lose the features as you shown in the first pass with feature mode. Wouldn't it be best to suggest to scan with marker mode as to not to loose features as with feature mode in the first pass as you shown ?

@@christopher8116 im not sure you follow the video. The video shows that feature mode does not work on all items. The feature mode scan is to show and explain why it is losing track. And to show how the model looks. Some people will do a scan in feature mode just like the first scan i did. Then wonder why does their scan look so bad. Then the 2nd and 3rd scans are to show how you would scan an item like that. The problem and the solution. If i just showed the solution people would not know what they where doing wrong
