Hello friends. In this video we are visiting the highest point in the Ubiñas- La Mesa Natural Park. It is a peak called Fontán Norte which, with 2014 m. of altitude is also considered as the highest point in the asturian municipality of Quirós. This is a linear trail which covers a distance of 11 km (both ways) ands has an elevation gain of 1200 m. This is a hike which is not recommended for people who are starting to practice hiking.
At some point in the video I mention a buttelfly. I must say the video does not portray the beauty of this butterfly. You can try googling the scientific name (Macroglossum Stellatarum) to get better images of it.
Concerning the trail, personally I though it was not as beautiful as other ones I have hiked in this area in the past. Just to give an example, I liked the trails starting in Tuiza de Arriba and ends in Peña Ubiña.
