Sorry we didn't book H10 hotel. Barcelo is huge modern and had to upgrade 200 pounds to get a room with a view and sunshine.

We stayed in Royal Level in September & the hotel itself was amazing. Hardly any of the reception staff spoke English & the same can be said for the dining staff. The food was disgusting as very little choice & stone cold, so we ate out the last three days. Would return but only for the room,and,pool,area.

I was on the verge of booking this till i saw the room, whoever came up with the concept of open bathrooms. Iv been married for 40yrs but i still like my privacy.. i could never stay Anywhere with washhand sinks in bedroom 🤷‍♂️. And it seems to be a growing trend. If Any hotel designers reading this PLEASE STOP.

Thanks for info; just returned from Puerto Calero. We passed this hotel on our excursion to Playa Blanca and looked impressive from the top of the double decker coach! The tour guide mentioned staffing problems in Playa Blanca saying that the hotel are offering a lot of incentives to recruit and retain more staff. Definitely will have a look at booking here for our next visit 😊

What type of room did you have? I've booked a Superior Seafront room and I'm not sure where they're positioned in the hotel. I assumed it was the rooms closest to the sea, but I think it may also include the rooms that face the sea but are far back.

Just come back family of 4 (sept 16th) nice hotel but I have to disagree with the dining experience - deserts looked awesome, but the buffet cooked foods were bland and mediocre at best. Some of the main meat products not cooked through, and a lot of it Luke warm at best. Will we return - yes but to a more manageable size hotel.

Me and my wide stayed here at the end of july beginnjng of August, in the royal level, and it is the best hotel we have stayed in on lanzarotte.

I totally agree with everything you've said . I stayed in August great hotel was put off by comments on fb and nearly cancelled but came anyway regardless . Hotel is fab best in the area ( my opinion) staff fantastic too .
