That one fell in my lap. Last week they had the quarter sticks, but this week the full pack. I love Meijer’s clearance aisle during the winter because they’re getting rid of the Christmas stuff. They have flannel sheet sets for a steal, but they’re twin.

Great suggestion with the chocolate. I am still in the research phase. The app actually has quite a few dietary change options and I only filled in my basic information that needed to be completed before I can move on. After I get the more detailed information in, the (I am assuming) AI portion of the app will give suggestions on what plan may work best. I will update soon😊.

Sherri was so mad. She and a friend had paid a month ago for a special craft class scheduled for yesterday evening. I TOLD HER CALL FIRST to make sure that they haven’t canceled. She said that they would not be canceling because the class was at the craft shop itself and that they were already there to teach the class and make the extra money coming from the sales of the materials needed for the project🙄. She told me that the normal 10 minute drive took her over 30 minutes. She arrived and you guessed it🤣. I had to agree with some of her anger because they didn’t call anyone after the last minute decision. Instead they sent a mass email🙄. How can someone read an email while driving? And if you you’re a no show you lose the money, so she and 50-11 more people braved the elements to get there. They will however be rescheduling and refunding the entry fee. Yes, I will usually pick up clothing with tags only from Value World if a nice estate comes in. Lately their clothing prices for clothing with the original tag are astronomical 😬. Sherri called because she knew that this particular clearance was unmatched. My original plan was to hit JC Penney’s clearance sale. They sale the Alfred Dunner slacks that I love. I tried on everything and other than a few things being a teench too big, I loved the fit. I like comfy and loose anyway and the tops camouflage well. All that’s needed now are a pair of Sas shoes and a pair of sneakers and then I am done. I took a few months to plan out and wisely use the reimbursement funds that I had told you about. The downside of the extra medical expenses deductibles help is that you can not exceed a certain amount in your banking account at one time to remain within the required guidelines, so I needed to spend some before the end of February when they will be requesting their 4 month update. The program has helped me so greatly that I refuse to play around, nor take any chances. I am complying by the books. I can finally breath a little financially and will continue to live as frugal as possible because it can all disappear. Should that happen, I will know exactly how it was spent. The yarn was my only splurge, and even that was 85% off. I feel that I deserve it ❤. Oops, I’m spiraling down the rabbit hole again, but I am so thankful to have FINALLY qualified for something. It’s very rare for those of us who are single with a disability and chronic illness. I have a good friend in Massachusetts that posted on yesterday that they just lowered the boom on she and others in her state who now must pay astronomical co-pays until their deductible is met. She’s on two life sustaining medications that she showed the receipt for. I advised her on what to do and hopefully her state has a program that she should now qualify for. I only qualified because of inflation. I have learned that no matter how many disappointments come to just keep trying because you never know when a small break will come. Okay I am stopping now, I have written a book😛, but I only share personal information if I know that it may help those who are law abiding, trying, and just may not know how to begin, or what to do. One of my biggest pet peeves is when others know information that can help someone and purposefully withhold it. I believe that we will have to give an accounting one day and this is one that I don’t want on my list of dirty deeds😬.

@@DiannasHomesteadright! Her anger was short lived because this snowstorm was a total non forcasted surprise. That was unusual even for we in Michigan who are accustomed to weather giving us all 4 seasons in a day🤣.

We ended up with 5 inches. I was happy to look outside at 8:00 and my walk and driveway had been shoveled.❤😊.
