Modular is the only one I want on the drop. It will be the 1st time I can actually pick one up in store when they first come out as we just got a LEGO store in the city I live. I usually need to order online and wait on it.

Love micro builds, but $200 is insane for Diagon Alley. When they announced that price, it was an easy no for me! My Day 1 list is pretty simple [and done online since the closest Lego Store is 2.5 hours away]: Tudor modular [tudor modular GWP] Da Vinci Icons set F1 Ferarri pit City set Blacktron would be on it, but I know that will be on sale for 30-50% off before the summer hits, so I will grab 2 of them then [it's a 2-in-1]. Lots of March 1st sets I want as I'm an F1 fan, but the Speed Champions will all be on sale for significant discounts later in the year, and picking up all 10 of them is costly, so getting them even a few dollars off each will add up! There are some F1 City sets - one is a day one purchase since it's perfectly priced at $30 - the other is higher and so I'll wait for a discount.

First, I love this type of video. It's fun to see which sets excite you the most, which ones you're still considering, and which ones you're passing on. For me, I usually wait a long time before buying new sets, usually waiting until they've been out for at least a year. This lets me wait for really good deals, maximizing my Lego budget. I only buy on Day 1 if I'm *super* excited for a new set (like the Back to the Future Delorean Time Machine), or if there is an exclusive promo that I really want (The Endurance ship, the large Dungeons & Dragon set). I love the Tudor Corner, but I don't think the exclusive GWP (Corner Kiosk) is enough to get me to buy it on Day 1. So I'll wait a year or two until I can get a good deal on that one. The microscale Diagon Alley is very interesting to me. I haven't bought a Harry Potter set in many years, but I really like microscale buildings like this and I'm very tempted. But $200 is crazy expensive, so I'll definitely wait on that one and I'll need to pick it up at a really, really good discount. Finally, the N-1 Starfighter is one of my favorite ships in all of Star Wars, and I'm pretty sure I'll impulse purchase that 4+ Mandalorian set at some point. Yes, 4+ sets are juniorized and not very realistic, but they are quick & fun to build while traveling (which I do a lot), and I can become a kid again whooshing it around my hotel room. At some point, that'll definitely be worth $30 to me. 😀 Great video, and Merry Christmas, Nicki! 🎄

January 1 is always one of the best Lego drop days! I will definitely be getting that Tudor corner! And I also plan to get the Grogu and pram. I hope you get Ahsoka’s Interceptor and the ARC 170! I will probably get those at some point, but will likely pass on Day 1.

Star Wars we wait til May so maybe an icon

I love going into my favourite Lego store because I love seeing the staff and I can always find something Harry Potter or Star Wars or marvel my decision is hard for januray but I must say that I always try to catch a price drop in January in other stores just to catch an old set to buy. But big sets a good to do in between a small set or medium set my nephew has just started lovin duplo I brought him the fire truck he loved it so hopefully the big smile on his face just was awesome I hope you have a merry Christmas I hope your family get you some Lego gift vouchers for Christmas so you can use em in januray . Never buy anything day 1. Lego always produces more sets and sales on Amazon always happen, even for star wars sets 20-30% off. Unless there is a very good gwp that's specific to a set on release day. Amazon recently had the AT-TE and Ghost for 30-40% off.

Ahsoka's jedi star fighter is such a rip off.

Series 27. You can now use apps such as Minifig scan to scan the QR code on the bottom of the pack to see what minfigure are in it. im after the Steam Punk minifigure. Im holding out for the Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter Microfighter set to come out in June. But Chopper is one i might have to get once realised also.

For me I'm thinking ARC 170 and I'm probably doing 2 Ahsoka fighters even though they are a little over priced. But I'm building 1 and then I am planning to have Ashley Eckstein and Matt Latner sign the other at an upcoming con. Super excited!!!

I'm going to wait on those Star Wars sets, they will be there for quite awhile. Only thing I'm pulling on first is the LOVE art set, which I think it a great display piece, and looking forward to customizing it.

The one set I'm considering is the Blacktron Renegade. .

The CMF boxes have a scannable QR code on the bottom that a bunch of apps support! I use omgbricks to scan and for the space and DnD waves it was easy to scan a stack of the boxes and it overlays what each one is, so you can check a bunch at a time. I plan to do the same this wave for the cat and the cockatoo this wave!

I’m really leaning towards the new modular. I preordered the Pham and Acclimater. I want to get Home One and maybe the Arc 170. Not sure about the starfighter because of the price but I will probably get it anyway. lol.

I already have the 2010 arc 170 so might just order the figs separately. The interceptor looks great, but I’m going to need a massive sale so I’ll play the long game on that one😄.

I’m ordering online! I’m definitely ordering Grogu and the pram day one! I think I’m going to get the 3 in 1 panda too. The designer did so well on that. The other Star Wars sets I think I’ll wait for a promo or 2x points like you said

There is an app that identifies the CMF boxes by the QR code on the bottom. Definitely worth it if you only want a specific figure. I plan on getting the Pterodactyl & Wolfpack this way! Edit: Brick Search. That's the name of the app.

if you go in store to try and get the mystery minifigure, there's an app called minifig scan. You scan the bottom of the box with the app and it should tell you what's in it ! That's how I found all the D&D figs !

ARC-170 for sure, waiting sales for the Jedi Interceptor. I like the Fountain Garden to go along with the Botanical Garden, but will wait for sales. Probably will get a few of the City trucks.

hey, 199.99 is much different than 449.99 for MANY people, think what ou can buy for that extra $250...maybe they don't have the space for full scale, or maybe they prefer microscale.

I think I’ll wait may the fourth to buy some SW seats.

I really like Legos!!! The LEGO set I got this year is the UCS AT AT!!! It’s the most expensive Lego set I’ve ever bought but it was so worth it!!!

Im definitely most excited for the Ahsoka Starfighter and Arc 170 starfighter! I have an older version of the Arc 170 set so I want to do a comparison! the HP knight bus and dueling class have caught my attention as well!

Overpriced "MID" scale line is a hard pass. ARC is cool but just doesn't move the needle for me at cost. Only thing I'm going for is the modular!
