What I’ve been doing the last year or so instead of making videos. Plus some about why I play music. What Zach Bryan and I have in common. If you get that far, what I decided not to say was just speculation on how much help he got from the algorithm, because it could come across as negative, and I respect what he’s done. Plus announcing my first song release and new website. Linked in the first...

How much I got for my yellow horse at the sale, and a plug for a cool new product my buddy at TheTallowedTruth.com just launched. Correction: In the video I said that the F-balm is made with beeswax when it’s actually made with honey. (Sorry Ben ;)

Great philosophy and very intelligent objective viewpoints . Very balanced analysis which highlights the value of understanding and actioning a job rather than relying on a title .
@@JonathanMcRae-ol4ro thank you.
Thanks! Appreciate that a lot.
Good performer , good song, love the content.
The grip 😭
Absolutely love the Highway Men! Such a great song off a great album. All time fav being Jennings.
@@Muddymudskipper Jennings is the best.
As you said, "Anything can happen." And as my father said, "And probably will!" Keep up the good work!
Thanks a bunch! Your Father sounds like an inspiring guy.
You're a cool dude and I've enjoyed all of your content. You're living the life many can only dream of. Shoeing, roping and playin great music! As an amateur shoer and a long time musician I'm looking forward to following along with you're journey. Keep doing what you love and the opportunities will come along organically. Would be cool to see some "day in the life" vlogs.
Appreciate that! If I do nothing else I want to inspire people to be what God made them to be.

I used them for at least two decades. I still have a few in stock. I also used the EZ as well. I now use the Vulcan Blankensop. To me the worst shoe is anything Diamond.
Agreed, except diamond made the best Mule shape.
Never used the Vulcan, what are they like? I’ve been out of the loop.
Thank you for sharing this. You are an asset to the industry
@@kerryhaugh8307 appreciate that.
Like everything else there’s a place for them. Not for every discipline of horse but have had good luck with them on some horses!
Who ever invented it was definitely a race plater
I have a Yoder tall stall jack, for traveling. Cold shaping wide web shoes on it is a real pain, but most keg shoes aren't so wide, and it goes ok. I travel light.
I don’t use them.
How do you know that the shoe is flat?
Just by looking.
You sharpen them how I do when I learned I used a little fine flat stone but I use a diamond file like you do now
Works good.
With jeezy playing inda back!🔥🔥💯😂
Great video!
Thanks buddy!
On tour 💪
Something like that ;)
Looks hot to me!
nice vid dude
Thanks!
Nice form fella, all wrist and shoulder.
Thanks.
Really?
Stud. Haha most epic review yet, thanks bro, means the world!
Gold tip
Dang, no comments yet!
I haven’t used them, I use several different types of Kerckhaert shoes. Just what I have always used. Nothing against the Eventer.
@@castleequine fair enough! Though I like the eventers, Kerckhaert makes much better race plates (in my opinion)
Have you tried any of the Kahn Forge shoes yet?
What school did you work in oklahoma?
I worked at the one in Purcell.
Nice I did some time there as well
@@cowboymoneyshowis the one in Purcell better our Ardmore better?
@@joshsolo8906 honestly don’t know, I heard Jack Roth bought the one in Ardmore a few years ago.
There under one owner now. But I believe down south they kept the old instructors when it went under one owner.
Nice work!
Nice. Now go scratch them up. Ha !
You bet, they’re not looking so pretty now!
Your tools are irrelevant to your excellent work
Thanks👍🏼
Mister, I´ve been glued to shoeing vids for the last 2 weeks. (taking courses and shoeing my own boys) And this is the most fun vid out there. And really nice job. My older horsy is swinging me around like crazy when I trim his front feet. And farts like a friggin five star general when I do the hinds,, HAHA
Thanks man, glad you like it! Keep at it, they’ll figure out you won’t let go and start to stand a little better.
ik this is good for the horse and painless but i always get shivers from imagining it happen to me lol
Love the shoeing job AND the commentary!
Thank you sir!
Nice trim, fit and finish. I use that shoe in my practice sometimes. It's a well made shoe and helps a lot of horses. But it's killing my elbow and shoulder watching you cold bang it 😅. But I do everything hot whenever I can
Thanks! It’s a great shoe. Actually not that hard steel, shapes pretty good cold. ;)
You're definitely entertaining to watch! Lol Dug out my stall jack to go shoe some Polo horses tomorrow. My forge and anvil are tools I use whenever I'm out shoeing. We'll see how it goes cold banging on my stall jack. Omg those words kinda make me sad, cold banging, stall jack, as if. In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy spirit Jesus help me and purify my soul lol for not just using those words but actually contemplating doing it and using the tool that is probably going to end up in the bottom of a lake down here yonder in Southwest Florida. Lol Driving over a bridge I'll hollar F this out the window into the river it goes. Jerry Plank CJF
Ha ha, I’m here to help people try new things! If you do throw that fine piece of equipment in the lake just drop a pin and send it over maybe I’ll fish it out;)
Yes , you do ...
If you want to clean up surface rust, you can use a rust converter that is non-toxic and gives a protective coating. There are paint on, spray, or dip types. I prefer a rust converter vs a rust remover. For dry wood, soak in a vegetable oil or lindseed oil and it will swell the wood without becoming toxic to the horse or you.
The last comment at the end made me curious if you were pro-worker or pro-CEO or perhaps you are more infavor of strictly self-employed or more co-op.
Thanks, I’ve never tried a rust converter, but I’ve used linseed oil. It didn’t work that great for me.

@@douma858 yes it is it’s choking the animal
@openroadtravels181 no it's not 😂
I'd say..
That one's trained already.
Who farted? Lol
That foot looked sharp when finished!! 🙌🏼
Thank you sir!
Fine job as usual. Not sure if I missed it but have you mentioned why you use those Equilibrium shoes on your rope horse?
Thanks! I use them because I like the way they fit and how the nails are punched. Plus with all the steel, over time they really seem to build a stronger foot. Might be overselling them but don’t think it’s just my imagination.
Man inreally appreciate the vids
Thanks, glad you like them!
Who ever invented it was a genius. Good job!
Thanks!
