    Followed this recipe and it was the best dough I’ve made so far! Still soft after 3 days on the counter and tastes amazing. Thank you for this video, it’s very straightforward. My only mistake was I dipped the dough balls too long in hot water for the first few ones, should only be a quick dip just to make toppings stick.

    I am not from Edmonton. I'm in Kitchener, Ontario. I am making this recipe right now, and I'm wondering if these are eaten with any sauces. Maybe a soya sauce, or sour cream, or a sweet & sour sauce, when you get them in a restaurant in Edmonton. If so, how do you make the sauce?

    Thanks for sharing, I will try your recipe but I will roll the dough inside-- center thicker so that it will be prettier when baked. I tried before but it was out of shape, maybe the dough is too much, will make it 40-43 gm each like you stated.

    Hello - thank you for sharing this. It's a new method for me of forming the dough balls so they are all proportionate. Interesting. I wasn't sure what you were doing rolling out the dough so thin and then slicing it into triangular shapes. But they worked out well. How long did you have to fry them to get all the dough cooked through? How was the texture and how long did they stay fresh? Anyway, best wishes. I'll start checking out your other videos. I just happened to come across this one. My stand mixer bowl was damaged and new bowls cost about $100 here in Ukraine - way too much, so I was glad to find recipes which don't require stand mixers.

      Hello there. Frying donuts requires a really low fire, set the temperature first to 320degreesbthen turn it down to low. Fry the dough until it’s golden brown. Thanks for watching

      Be patient. The only secret is to make sure your yeast has activated so use lukewarm water not hot and knead well until your dough is smooth and let it rise nicely. Also feel your dough while kneading. Sometimes if the flour is quite old it would require more water so if the dough is tight add a little bit of warm water until it’s nice smooth and soft.

      Pwede po. Hindi ko pa na try pero pwede po bale bawasan nyo lang ang yeast para matagal sya tumubo kasi kung over proofed ang bread babagsak pag na bake na. So try nyo pong gawing 3 to 4 Grams lang ang yeast. Thank you

      Hi Ruth. Yes you can add the instant dry yeast to the ingredients. You still have to warm the milk up but not too hot. Warm liquid temperature helps to activate the yeast. Hot liquid kills the yeast, cold liquid won’t activate the yeast therefore the dough won’t rise. Thanks
