    👉👉Catholics have had Jesus Christ for 2000 years now. The gospel and the bible came from the catholic church....not the protestant church and protestantism (the protest church) comes from Martin Luther and other men who opposed Jesus. 😅🤣🤣🤣

    As an Anglican Christian who fully believes in Jesus, I’m quite bothered by Mike’s series here! I think he shows a fair amount of ignorance regarding church history and our historic faith. Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Roman Catholic and Protestant churches all believe and teach what I would call the 6 key essentials of our historic Christian faith, namely: -the Trinity. That is, God has revealed himself as a triune being, one God in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God (not a ‘part’ of God, as some mistakenly state). This Trinity is a mystery that finite humans can’t really fully comprehend, but this is how God has revealed himself. Why should finite man even be expected to fully comprehend an infinite God?! So the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct persons (hypostasis) yet one God (ousia). That is, one in essence or nature. -the Incarnation. It’s very important to understand that Jesus is fully God and fully Man. 100% God and 100% man. This is what all Christians believe. A little more backdrop on the nature of God here: The second person of the Trinity, the Son of God (God the Son) has always eternally existed only in one nature (God/deity). However, at a predetermined point in human time, God the Son became a man. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. That is, for us and for our salvation he came down from heaven. So at this Incarnation (what we celebrate at Christmas), God the Son, second person of the Trinity, took a second nature. He took manhood (humanity) into the Godhead [as is stated in the Athanasian Creed]. So at the Incarnation and thereafter (even now), he has existed in two natures, fully God and fully Man. When he died on the cross, it was God the Son who died. -the Virgin Birth. By the power of the Holy Spirit He became incarnate from the Virgin Mary and was made man. [from Nicene Creed, called the universal creed of the church that all Christian’s believe]. Mary is the Theotokos (God bearer). She is absolutely NOT worshipped by Roman Catholics, nor does the RC church teach its parishioners to worship her (period!) Those who say otherwise are simply ignorant of RC Church teaching. -the Resurrection. Jesus died and was resurrected (a physical, bodily resurrection) and He exists today (and forevermore) as the great God-Man, fully God and fully Man. -the Atonement. Though there are various theories of the atonement, we ALL as Christians believe that it was necessary for God Himself to come down from heaven to save us, as only God could save us. No mere man could do this. -Future Second Coming of Jesus. We all believe that He will come again in glory. Now from many years of studying our common faith and church history, it is my opinion that the Roman Catholic Church has was I refer to as “excess baggage”. And as I’ve already stated, I’m not a Roman Catholic Christian. However, what is being presented in this video series is-in my opinion-way too harsh in its criticism of the Roman Catholic Church and what it teaches. What I have shared with you here (the 6 key essentials) is what ALL main branches of Christianity (Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Protestant) believe and teach. If you’re unaware of this, you’re simply ignorant of the Christian faith and church history.

    One way I know that the protestant positions and beliefs were not what was in place in the early church is the fact that the early church survived for over 1500 years and is still around today. Before Luther died, there were already many divisions among protestants: Lutherans (1521), Anabaptist (1525), Anglicans (1534) Calvinist (1540). The Roman Catholic Church is still here because it was established by Jesus Christ himself

    I love Mike Gendren's love of truth. I'm looking forward to the day he realizes that chapter 1 of Genesis describes a stationary earth with the sun, moon and stars moving over head. There is no "outer space" as described by NASA (Liars). God has placed us in a closed system, there is a lid over head (Firmament). With out a container atmospheric pressure would not be possible. Punch a hole in a spray paint can and the pressure equalizes. Water does not adhere to a ball that spins at 1000 mph, absolute madness. Try to prove the Heliocentric model, total absurdity. Those with eyes to see: airplane, sea-level, horizon. Polaris never moves (north pole) all constellations revolve around it. This wold not be the case if we were moving through "space" at 66,600 mph. Look at Pastor Dean Odle's work. He is a Biblically correct teacher of cosmology. Every word in the Bible is correct, read Genesis chapter 1. If you don't have a Bible that uses the word Firmament your being deceived.

    Summarizing, the Catholics believe in salvation by faith+works, the Evangelical Churches believe in salvation by faith alone. It means, the Catholics have met the requirement anyway. Joking aside, despite the many wrong teachings of the Catholic Church, it's teaching is still better than the teaching of preachers who have forsaken the very aim of preaching the Gospel as commanded by Jesus: “teach them to obey everything I have commanded you”. Like the divider of the Church, who is preaching in this video the division for 1 hour without teaching us to follow Jesus's commandments at all. What do we need to inherit eternal life? Jesus himself gave the answer to this question in Luke 18:20-22. His answer is difficult to bring into realization in everyone's life and I think, for this reason, every schizm in the Church occurred while searching for more easy answers to the very same question. Seeing the condition for salvation in the necessity of the Baptism and of partaking in the Sacraments on the Catholic side and in the necessity of Faith alone on the Evangelical side are equally wrong in my opinion. These are all things very easy to do - too easy for being the right answer. The Evangelical teology is founded on the teaching of St. Paul and the mistakes of the Evangelical Churches result in misinterpreting of St. Paul's doctrin, therefore, I recommend looking at his teaching in its entirety. Here are some of the St. Paul's citations which many of us tend to overlook: "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not bedeceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God". (1Corinthians 6:9-10) "Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but KEEPING THE COMMANDMENTS of God is what matters". (1Corinthians 7: 19) "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love." (Galatians, 6:6) Please notice: Not a 'Faith alone', but a 'Faith WORKING' through the works of love: "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this:" You shall love your neighbor as yourself.""(Galatians 6:14) Being freed from the law is for St. Paul conditional: "But IF you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law." (Galatians 6:18) And he explained, what does it practically mean to be led by the Spirit: "Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, licentious ess, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like, of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in the past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, piece, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law." (Galatians 6:19-23) St. Paul substitutes the old Judaic law with a new law of Christ, which is an even more demanding law: "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2) "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this:" You shall love your neighbor as yourself."" (Galatians 6:14) St. Paul didn't abolish the commandments, he just "reversed" the order: Instead of saying, we must keep God's and Jesus' commandments in order to be saved, he says, we are saved, therefore we must keep the commandments. To believe (as understood by the Evangelical Churches) is an easy task which can be accomplished in few minutes. Following Jesus's commandments is a task for life. The Catholic Church puts emphasis on obeying God and it makes up for many of the flaws in its doctrine.

Catholics interpreted the bible. Challenge the priests. I hope you will be enlightened.

    I am a traditional Catholic; and I know the history of the one Church Christ founded on the apostles with Peter at their head, and endowed with the Holy Spirit of Truth, promising that, under His protection, The Spirit would lead it into all ALL TRUTH until the end of the world:, and that "the gates of Hell would never prevail against IT" And: "Behold! I am with you all days even to the consummation of the world." Just one of hundreds of examples of great miracles and prodigies performed by holy Catholics in every age of the Catholic Church: St. Bernard of Clairvaux, a Cistercian monk and priest who lived in the twelfth century, and who celebrated the Mass you call idolatry every day of his monastic life, raised over twenty people from the dead in the sight of many witnesses of irreproachable character, as well as performing many other great miracles. Another example: St.Vincent Ferrer,, a Spanish priest of the Order of St. Dominic, who lived a little later, raised 22 people from the dead and worked literally thousands of miracles. He focused on converting Jews; and it is reported that he would go into synagogues and simply by lifting a crucifix over them, converted them all on the spot - and this ,not on one occasion but on several occasions; The miracles performed by the saints you are pleased to call idolators and heretics in every age of the Catholic Church's nearly two thousand year history are just uncountable, in fulfillment of the promise of Jesus Christ that "they who TRULY BELIEVE will do the works that I do..;" It is a sad thing that most sectarian protestants like yourself have been misinformed concerning what the Catholic Church authentically teaches. I see it again and again in anti-catholic blogs on youTube.. Nor do they know practically anything of the glorious history of the miracles and charitable works and catholic martyrdoms for the faith in England and Japan, and the great European culture in the arts, music and architecture, all inspired and funded in large part by the Catholic Church. This studied parochialism, which produces a cabined mind, is sadly endemic to American protestant sectarian religions. The ancient saintly fathers of the Catholic Church who lived in the first four centuries after the ascension of Christ, all taught what the Catholic Church has always taught down through the centuries, and not one of them taught the favorite protestant un-biblical doctrines of "once saved always saved" and "salvation by faith alone"; that the Last Supper is only a symbolical meal; that loving and honoring in a special way that very special person, the Virgin Mary, chosen and" Blessed among all women" to be the mother of His Divine Son, is idolatry, and that she had other children; that the office of the papacy, the Successor of Peter to whom exclusively Christ gave the Keys to the Kingdom of heaven and promised that "his faith would not fail" is un-biblical and a fiction - to name a few.. You would do well to go to vaticancatholic.com to learn the truth of what the Catholic Church really teaches , and read the English translation of the Catechism of the Council of Trent.. You may be pleasantly surprised.

    Regarding the subject about inconsistency, I find the doctrine of the Trinity contradictory. God is the Father, God is the Son, and God is the Holy Spirit, and yet, the Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is not the Son. It doesn't make sense to me. How can Christ as the Son of God the Father coeternal with the Father? Everyone knows that a son is a male offspring.

    • @tonyabrown7796
      @tonyabrown7796 22 дні тому

      I think the word son might be used as a designation of rank. Like crown prince, or firstborn. It's not not quite the same but a family can be made up of more then 3 people. They are all individuals but also one family. It is such a difficult concept though. I expect we won't really understand until we see God.
