Super Slow Ro (Roman)
Fun outside between rain storms with a ball and Roman (Ro). The dog's ability to track the ball is fun to see. Albeit he was already getting a bit tired by the time we got the camera out he would quite literally chase the ball until he could not move. Dogs rule!

458 SOCOM and 50 Beowulf Range Day
Переглядів 4513 роки тому
After more than a year of COVID, we finally get to spend some time at Tony's range to fire our big bore ARs. Tony's 450 SOCOM and my 50 Beowulf. Just some clips of shots hitting various targets mostly from the recycle bin. I believe we me do this again soon and do a bit more scientific comparison of the two cartridges. You will be able to see the slower bullets make the trip to the target.

I love your videos ❤️😍
Everything was an “absolute beauty” 😂
What rubbing compound and glazing compound do you recommend?
Is that Kari Byron at 1:50?
Yep.
file dxf plz
Thanks for these. Seeing the amount of heat control here versus going at it with a MIG has me rethinking my plans. I’ve got 3 K5s. One needs 3 small areas repaired, mostly around seat mounts, one needs a singlet rocker patched in, and the third needs full floors. Mouse and Skerrell Turds are holding that one together lol. Even though this video is 11 years ago, it is appreciated. I saw part 2, plus the seat mount reinforcement video & striker. I have to perform some of those same tasks so thank you again. Be well 👊🏼
Thanks for not answering the question. Looks good though
Announcer annoying as shit
Is Eric usher still a member?
Who???
BRI has a nice 1000 yard range. Just joined so I can shoot the 1000 yards. My home range is just to 600 yds and Im bored at 600.
Update?
Great video, and no problem with the music.
Thank you for sharing this. Exactly what I wanted to see.
This is great, thanks for posting!!!!
www.bigboremag.com sells conversion kits for Gi Mil-spec mags and Polymer Hex mags, They work great too ! and you probably already have the magazines so for under $10.00 you have a big bore mag that works!
That was really cool. Music too.
I'd like to come shooting with y'all some time. I want to do some distance shooting with a couple "new to me" rifles, a Ruger No1 in 300 win mag, and a Winchester model 70 in 30-06.
Cool video. Good job. pew pew pew
Dude weld nothing jast buy steal board 2 inch and cut out to fit as new flore and use bolts
thats for idiots who cant weld
Really could've done without the shitty music.
Looks great
Okay, now I know how to set up the Schuster gas plug. I've been told that you have to periodically clean the plug as it becomes stopped up with powder remnants and sludge and will not function as a clean plug. I wouldn't want to bend the op rod because of a dirty adjustable plug. Oh, and by the way, the music sucks.
Are you going to film punkin chunkin 2019?
Not this year, no. My annual trip does not coincide with the date or location. I'll need to try to schedule a special trip next year.
@@SilhouetteTexas thanks
Show me a damaged M1 due to modern loads? How about lubing your rifle correctly? Of course not. Modern gunners are spoiled
One or two rounds doesn't do it. It happens over time.
Dude, we got 3rd at Colorado Punkin Chunk last week!
I remember this
Good information. Horrible music!
Glad you found it informative, not everyone is an Art of Noise fan but anyone can enjoy a legendary rifle.
I just ordered on of these, thank you for doing the video and showing how to do it. I had to mute the audio!
You going to punkin chunkin in Oklahoma or Colorado this year? We've won the last few years in Oklahoma and Texas. I really wanna go to Colorado. Maybe we can caravan or something.
FingerAngle: Is that the "Route 66 Punkin' Chunkin' Festival Oct 27, 2018"? Had not considered it before now, maybe.
Yes, sir. Route 66 Punkin Chunkin
You can be on the team if you want.
Interesting prospect, in what part of Texas are you located?
Texas Silhouette Conroe north of Houston.
So who makes this gas plug? I don’t see the name anywhere.

Time for some new videos!
Michael Blackwell - We have some in the works, hope to collect some content in Raton this summer, if I can make it there. Stay tuned.
Did you trickle charge those? Found with varget it need to be trickeld prob why thos velocitys were wide
91chevy1500 - every charge was thrown light and manually brought to weight.
FWIW - ignore the first 5 or 6 shots, the velocity was coming up as we closed off the gas plug. SD on the last 8 shots was 21.7 and while not great we felt reasonable for first shots of a starting load through an old barrel that still needed a lot of copper removal done.
Need some new videos!!!
Nice shooting
Sorry for the late comment but I'm interested to know if you backed the screw out all the way before you started, or did u start from factory settings and then start to turn in
Installed as it came out of the box. Apologies for missing your question earlier.
Great shots of the machines! Awesome video!
When are y'all going to build a machine?
How do you clean it?
I'm thinking about building a whipper type trebuchet for the 2017 pumpkin chunkin
Peter Hathaway Capstick invented mini sniping in the '70s as a way to relax after big game hunts in Africa. Him and his friends calculated that a 9mm case at 35 yards was equal to an adult male's torso at 1000 yards. (It was either 35 or 25, but pretty sure it was 35) In the '80s I had an FWB 124D fitted with a 4-12 x scope and it was a blast. Great shooting friend, I thumbed up the video.
36:45 the people who ruined Punkin chunkin.
I appreciated this, you're just about the only one on UA-cam who actually went through the process of adjusting it on camera for us. Thank you 👍🏻
Thank you for your reply
Where can I buy it. I'm from Germany
I purchased mine from MidwayUSA online.
If you're still interested, you can try here : www.brownells-deutschland.de/epages/Deutschland.sf/de_DE/?ObjectID=71998
Very nice.
What brand of ammo are you shooting? I love the Winchester 30-30 rifle. The best made for its purpose.
Mike Richards - This one is a 1948 vintage Marlin 336A. On this particular day I was shooting 160g Hornady FTX projectiles with about a half grain below max of LeverRevolution. Out to about 400yards I use 173gr FNGC lead projectiles with a mid-range load of SR4759
Check out a cool Punkin Chunkin Video on my UA-cam channel. UA-cam/ccjamboree
I have to do this to my truck. just a quick tip you need to learn how to feed filler rod. you welds will look way better.
I think the brief view of the kid in the background is funny too :-)
well aint that something!
