How do I work for myself?.. I’m hoping someone who has made it can tell me. I’m only 18 and I feel so trapped and everyone around me in my life is poor and is fine in there 9-5 but I can’t do it! I want time not money, but I don’t want to be homeless. Please, I need advice.

The fact that neuroplasticity caused us to see blue as an variant of green is quite fascinating. Soothing(cause i was seeing blue all the time) and insightfull video.

Is it clear? That your company? Makes posters? For people? Because beloved artist staff: if it's true, if THAT'S Your message: FOLKS! it isn't clear. Are You being coy? Coy never works. Your slogan must be: IS YOUR LIFE WORTH A P*O*S*T*ER? If so ---- reach us Today. Advertise your life, Book, dog, house or ship or family. Is your Life only a Post it note? Or a poster?" Gentle people.... what are You trying to convey. Respectfully submitted for your consideration Gregg Oreo Long Beach CA etats unis

Just watched this, and I'm confused as to why this guy thinks he has some kind of authority to speak of 'what makes a great portrait', it's not as though he's an artist, I mean which art gallery represents him? Where does he sell his work? It's not as though he's an art critic either. Talk about ego, it's all 'I think...' Fake people thinking they have an authority to speak of subject matters they have no real place to talk about.

I too love the art of Jackson Pollock, and your brief post quite captures his expressive power! I realize that a lot of people don’t “get it,” they thinking that he was essentially a daft and cynical salesman of “artistic snake oil,” but their loss is gain for those who can appreciate his next level magic! Indeed, in my opinion, it was actually Pablo Picasso selling the “snake oil,” with apologies to “Guernica,” but even here, I think it was the emotional content of the historical EVENT, more than the artist’s throw away, and rather quite cartoonish, artistic characterizations, that amplified the overall enthusiasm (though it did, perhaps, give us the wonderful, TRUE “cartoon” art of Richard Guindon, so there’s THAT!)… A small quibble: I have always heard the artist’s name pronounced like “pa-luck,” not like the derisive American name for immigrant Poles (i.e., “Pollock jokes”), and, indeed, the double “l,” in BOTH cases, should render the “O” to shift from “O” to an “Ah” sound (and SIRI agrees with me!)… Other than that, Mr. Williamson, do keep up the very excellent and quite genuinely evocative work! Best regards, Glenn PS: I once owned an old multi-colored paint spattered hammer that I called “Jackson Wallop”… I really miss that hammer!

When anyone says: "my kid could make that!". I say, "well put that kid to work!". The fact is that Mondrian's geometric works are meticulously painted in a way that is extraordinarily difficult to do.
