So 36:7 refers to Arabs prior to the conquest of Mecca. And 110:2 proves that "and you ˹O Prophet˺ see the people embracing Allah’s Way in crowds" (110:2). You have to LINK verses speaking about the SAME TOPIC together to get the FULL PICTURE. If you pick and choose from the Quran you get it wrong. The Quran is a coherent system. Generally speaking, the speaker says true things on the PRINCIPLE of the relationship Quran-Hadith - in the sense that the Quran comes first and statutes over the Hadith - but he gets many APPLICATIONS of that PRINCIPLE WRONG such as the example I just gave.

All these ahadith are da'if, Ibn Hazm said there is no single authentic hadith on the virtue of Muawiya, that is why Bukhari in his book didnt say FADL MUAWIYA, rather ZIKR MUAWIYA

Imam Ali has everything to do with Islam he dedicated his life to it. But I agree Muawiya has nothing to do with Islam.

Don't bring Ali Mola and muawaiya into the same category. Imam Ali is the one for who the Prophet said Ali is with the truth and truth is with Ali. Ali AS is hence of the sadiqeen. The Quran says be with the sadiqeen. Imam Ali has everything to do with Islam. He is of the people for who Allah SWT says that he has bestowed his blessing upon some people that do not go astray or incur the wrath if Allah SWT

We can’t leave Ali alone we love him because Allah and Rasool loves him.
