Thank you--missed a lot of this game with a kid throwing up. Loved these 3 games. WF: Jamar Smith vs WF was even better than I remembered. Skip Prosser a solid coach--tragic. We hit our stride vs NCSU this game. Back in the day, 30 years before this game, it was us and NCSU, our first big rival, not UNC and not the other school. Still looking to find similar hatred in the B1G. Hating Mich & Iowa is just not the same. Still hating on South Carolina for the 1970 away bball game, 53 years ago.
I feel that State was our big rival in the ACC not only because of the shared colors but I also think the Terps big rivals depended on the sport. Football: Virginia, West Virginia, Penn State, Clemson, NC State, Navy and Rutgers Basketball: Georgetown, Virginia, NC State, North Carolina, Duke
