Chute Entrance to Deliverance Glade at Jay Peak, VT
Deliverance is a glade next to Lift Line and the Bonaventure Quad. In this video I entered Deliverance from an upper entrance off of Lift Line, the chute is clearly visible from the Bonaventure chair if you look for it. It is very steep and narrow, but when there is enough snow it is totally manageable, and I would highly recommend it.

Skiing Timbuktu at Jay Peak
Переглядів 5 тис.Рік тому
Timbuktu is a very interesting glade on the far left side of Jay Peak. When I skied it I was reminded of Bracket Basin at Sugarloaf, as there was a lot of room to explore, and you could traverse the top of the glad for a long time before hitting the ski boundary (there was more ski-able woods past the ski boundary, but I do not know where that would take you). Also, sorry for the slow skiing, i...

Starwood is a pretty easy glade at Sunday River in Maine. It is accessible from the Little White Cap lift, and I would recommend it if lifts go on wind hold and only small sections of the mountain are accessible. The cliff is very optional, and clearly marked.
Blizzard Conditions at Sunday River: Top Gun ◊◊
Переглядів 2922 роки тому
Top Gun was one of my favorite trails of the weekend I was at Sunday River. I was there the weekend of 1/29 when the nor’easter with blizzard winds came up the coast. The wind was hitting Top Gun head on, and blowing snow up the mountain. You can see as I get off the lift all of the Ski Patrol personnel at standing around as they were offloading before shutting down the lift.

Agony is a double black diamond underneath the Barker Mountain lift at Sunday River. It is often closed, but when opened one of the hardest trails on the mountain. It is covered top to bottom in moguls with small cliffs and rocks mixed in. I really enjoyed it, but it was definitely a workout as the name suggests.

Zero reason for that trail to be closed, but poaching under the lift is a dangerous game. If a patroller sees you from the lift, then he can radio to another patroller to meet you at the bottom.

Hello, 🌺🏵🌷🥀May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED." God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?

In steep terrain an aggressive confident pole plant will commit your upper body to the fall line. Instead of trying to ride the first turn around just let the tips drop and you're already past the fall line. Put most of the weight on the downhill ski and let the uphill one float. Turn quickly to keep the upper body flowing down. Lots of tight turns will create the hanging in space feel and time will stand still. Bang a few while looking for a good spot to scrub speed. Never go full ballistic until you are sure of the run out.
