@@dtperformance256 my buddy had one of those B&M megashifters in his Camaro. He was pulling away from a red light, full throttle and banged the shifter into 2nd... Dust & dirt collected in the gate area and allowed the shifter to go all the way to park. It was a B&M built th400 and it cracked the bell housing & rear housing. Twisted up the driveshaft and spit it out. That car was never the same after that.

@jeffallen3382 awe…man….that sux. I have been shifting this pro stick and it will definitely take some getting used to. That is part of the reason I went with a reverse pattern to at least keep myself from shoving it into neutral on thr highway or at the track. I don’t have enough experience with a 400, but everyone says bad things happen when you put a 400 in neutral at rpm. That is also why I went with an SFI sheild and bellhousing.

@@dtperformance256 He never had a cover for it as the shifter was that way when he bought the car. We believe that is was caused all the dust & dirt to build up and cause it to stick.

@yourpcmd Again thanks for the super thanks!!! I am considering switching the handle to a non button for that exact same reason. I traded for this shifter and it was brand new, so I got what I got. I ordered my Grant steering wheel from Motion. At the time, they didn’t have the red centering stripe and as soon as I ordered and dyed my yellow stripe red, they started selling them. I am going to eventually……eventually go transbrake and my button will be on the wheel too. Thanks again for so much support!!!! Send more photos when you get going, I’d like to see your work!

@andypace4685 That is what I am doing. The bleed hole keeps the centrifugal force of the fluid in the drum from building up and causing the clutches to drag and as long as you have one check ball (either in the drum or the piston) it should work fine. This is my first one, but everyone I spoke with and asked that has did this says it works great actually recommend it for better performance. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hello friend, we are happy to try to answer your questions. The following reply is for reference only. Many LED bulbs on the market now have built-in intelligent circuits that automatically adjust the current and voltage to adapt to different input voltages. This means that they can operate within a certain voltage range without being affected by excessive voltage. Most of our bulbs have a voltage range of 9-16V DC, which is suitable for cars and has good compatibility, so there is no need to worry about voltage differences damaging sensitive automotive electronic devices. In addition, LED bulbs usually produce very low ultraviolet radiation, much lower than halogen bulbs. This reduces the risk of damage to plastic parts inside the lamp and also reduces potential effects on human health. LED bulbs mainly emit visible light through light-emitting diodes, rather than generating light by heating the filament like halogen bulbs, so they produce less ultraviolet radiation. However, whether the specific LED bulb is suitable should still be judged according to the situation of your own vehicle. Specific problems are analyzed specifically. Generally, it is universal, but individual cases are not ruled out. Hopefully, the above information can be helpful to you.

@stevea6722 I have not used Sonnax before but all the parts that I have look to be very good quality. I have the Sonnax forward clutch hub that I am going to install as well. I went back and forth on overdrive and A/C. I may swap later and use this 400 for something else, but it has definitely been a learning experience. Thanks for watching and commenting!!! @burgesslane131 Yeah it was a much brighter light. Its a white light. The incandescents were yellow. I was surprised how it showed up on the video when I had the LED in the right side and the incandescent in the left. When I zoomed in you could really see it. Thanks for watching and commenting!!

@robbierichmondtryecop3916 There are 5 bolts on each side that are 3/4”. Remove those and unplug your tag lights and thats it. That will get the brackets off the frame and the bolts out of the bumper. 3 bolts on the frame each side and 2 in the bumper each side. Hope this helps.

@@dtperformance256 I have been slowly building my 19 93 chevy S10 extended cab 4.3 L fully loaded one owner grandpa truck for probably 16 years now I picked it up with only 43,000 miles and only has 100,000 it now I paint cars for living and redoing the bedliners now and noticed the top door hinge has finally start to wear out pretty good to make this long I think👍🏼

@terrywalters5410 wow.. that’s a unicorn. Very nice!! I love all the S10’s not just the racing type. I drove one for years when I was a teenager. Swapped a few with 350’s. Just something about them. Yeah they are not a 55 Chevy or anything, but that is just what I like. Good luck with your upgrades and build and thanks again for watching and commenting. @yourpcmd I tried to get it published right after dinner but had issues. I don’t think the shaft was compromised either but wanted to get feedback. Yeah I thought the drill would work better but I think my bolt had a slight bend that caused the shaft to wobble a little. Still turned out great though. The complete front brake assembly was $130 for both sides. Yes, I just disconnected the tie rods, upper and lower ball joint and purchased the complete assembly. Make sure to get the brake line brackets that attach to the frame or you will have tricky brake line angles if you use the first gen brake line brakets. The second gen brake line brackets make routing much easier. Thanks so much for the super thanks support! The views and comments are much appreciated as well!!!

@yourpcmd I originally had purchased a TH350 to build and changed my mind and went with the TH400. Both are great. I had a TH350 in my last S10 build behind a stock 350. I loved it. Just wanted to try a TH400 cause the word on the street is that they are much stronger. I would have no problem going with a TH350 again.
