In this episode, we discuss multiple facets of spiritual warfare including tactics of the devil and the variety of ways he can deceive and attack us. We dive into concrete examples of what this may look like in our lives by discussing the work of C.S. Lewis in his book, The Screwtape Letters, which presents common strategies of demonic forces in a fictional context. We also emphasize the power ...

@@Dailey_Adventure you have to watch the entire video for any additional context - in this chapter where we discuss faith and works we talk about how it is “both/and” not faith *or* works. • @sillytechnology

@@BondedSisterEdition Thanks for the response. I'd like to believe what you believe, but I am confused. Perhaps you are claiming that the Church is not defined by those who run it? This paints an awkward mental image for me, especially when I exaggerate this concept and imagine, as a thought experiment, that every single official of the Church is corrupt except for the Pope, but then somehow the Church itself isn't corrupt? I'd need that explained to me somehow because you completely lose me there. I wonder if we're talking about two different things. When I look up what infallible means I get: "incapable of making mistakes or being wrong" as well as "never failing; always effective." Are you trying to say that these definitions apply to the Church? That it can never be wrong and is always effective? I don't think you could tell me this is true with a straight face, especially in light of recent scandals. Or are you merely referring to Jesus stipulating that the Pope alone is always correct, but only when speaking officially from the chair itself? These are two radically different concepts. Because I could agree with you on this second concept while simultaneously acknowledging that the remaining 99.999% of the Church is corruptible, which functionally speaking, is effectively all of it.

I changed to journalling about my blessings instead which caused me to do things I wouldnt normally do, such as reaching out to friends/family, or simply walking my dog or cleaning my house because I became so thankful to have those things in my life.
