I like the comment about the step down for the fence as it goes to the front. It doesn’t say it in our covenants, but the developer put a low post and rail fence at the front and I did the slope down to meet the front fence and the neighbour didn’t like it. I said it’s better to have it transition down to the low fence like that and so people can see when they’re coming out of the driveway. Would you agree?

Couldn’t comment on your bugle screw video, good to see a nz fencing channel. Question - if you’ve already nailed rail in to the fence and you’ve got some bugle screws do you put them in every rail or where do you put the bugle screws in? Every single point on the post where the rail goes in?

I notice you are using an actuator/ram opener. I have rising hinges and a single swing set up I want to do, did you have to do anything special in mounting the actuators to account for the non-level rise?
