Origins had heroic finishers. They are back. The 'sheen' is a Frostbite thing. Frostbite also suffers from uncanny valley, so there's a touch of stylisation to steer it away from that and I think that's worked out fine. Mass Effect has moved to Unreal. There will be unhappy people, but they'll be unhappy that the game is not something else rather than what BioWare has done is bad. I don't subscribe to such entitled logic. I'm happy to enjoy what they've done and it looks like a solid 4th instalment.

you definitely need to finish inquisition (and the DLCs) before playing this, it answers a lot of your questions. the plot for this game was set up at the end of the trespasser dlc.

in dragon age veilguard there are still 3 classes and you can only play one class each playthrough just like all the other dragon age games

"heroic finishers" have been in dragon age since origins so don't know what you're whinging about

I am also ok with the direction Xbox and Play Station are going. PS has great exclusives, generally better (performance, feature or value, one or two of those) hardware, and lately those have been coming to PC even if later. Xbox has game pass which is the best value in gaming, and all games are on PC too. If we get handhelds from PS and Xbox it will be even better, to compete with the amazing steam deck oled which currently has no competition at the moment.

A lot of nostalgia. It will be easy for a lot of people to like that. I love the fighting stance he has in it, just like the movies, an old timey boxing stance.

I think this looks pretty good. Its obviously has a Civ foundation, but they seem to have added some interesting depth to it. Strategize and strategize.

This game I am very curious about. I like Dontnod's storytelling, never really got into Vampyr but all the Life is strange games are right up my alley, so if this one has similar storytelling (and this trailer showed that it does have a lot of it, hopefully it will be good) then it will be very interesting. The combat seemed janky for me too, I assume they will flesh it out before release? other than that looks really good for a game that has almost a year before release

I personally won't be spending any money on Cyberpunk until: - It stops getting updates, thus the game will finally be out of early access - Only if it no longer has bugs, which as far as I have heard, new ones get introduced with every update while old ones are fixed. - Even AMD and Intel cards can play the game with full graphical features. I don't want to support single vendor technical demos, it reminds me of old tesselation days or whatever technology was used with Crysis games. I know all cards will be able to play this in one or max 2 generations from now, so will play it then unless they keep introducing new features that halve the framerate lol I have already watched Jingles play this game so not that interested in the story sadly, it didn't seem that good of a story compared to Horizon Zero Dawn for example, but then again I don't enjoy these GTA-like stories full of crime and shooting (or FPS games, for that matter), even if I do enjoy sci-fi and dystopian stories a lot

3:50 when they mean feature parity, I think it means only features as in co-op, and similar. Basically anything that is gameplay. Graphical fidelity is not part of it, that will of course be different. I kinda agree with that, it would feel bad to everyone who bought the cheaper one if they couldn't play the same. Also, FPS cap is also ot a feature. I doubt they enforce the same FPS for both consoles because that is a graphical/performance aspect too, not a feature. But who knows what is happening behind closed doors. Xbox often makes bizarre decisions such as having their own proprietary storage when nvme exists and has been a big win for the PS5.

I have yet to play Wasteland 3 but apparently the story is good and it's also very dark/emotional, so I think I would like it. This one looks interesting too!
