Have you ever struggled with legalism in your faith journey? How has walking in the spirit changed your perspective?

I feel this is a wrong view of a very important topic. A misrepresentation. Where does scripture say this...if you are saying you cannot be made righteous via the law...I agree. If you are saying that if you are trusting in it for salvation then you nullify the work done at Calvary...I agree. Yet there is a lot of misrepresentation here as well. Where does the Lord say...O.T. or N.T. that if you're not born into it then you can't do it? "You and the foreigner among you." Like Ruth or Rahab or Luke or ABRAHAM? Or where does it say that it's too much for us to do the law ... Deut. 30... 1Jn 5:2-4... Phil. 3:5-7...if it is pursued via faith...Romans 9:31-32... And certainly aren't too hard now... Heb. 8:10...as we are chased towards Christ ... Not to mention that to love God is to obey His laws Jn 14:15...His commands. Salvation is certainly and only thru grace so that it might be through faith...that's never ...no matter the testament ...been a point of contention...yet the law is still as crucial as it has ever been Rom. 3:20, for those that stray in life from God's heart for our lives and His glory 1Tim 1:9 and applies as long as we borrow a pulse Rom. 7:1...for the wrong doer. When dealing with anything as important as God's expectations and how life works in kingdom mentality...we need to be really really careful to pursue not cultural thoughts...not even if the are pop-christianity cultural thinking or even denominational thinking but rather what God says in His Word as confirmed by His Spirit.
