🍂 Decorating for fall 🍂 reusing items, cleaning, new sezane boots, baking pumpkin cookies
🍂Decorating for Fall 🍂 sometimes a few strings of fairy lights, a new pair of boots and rearranging some home items makes it feel a lot more like autumn. I was hesitating to share more about me as a person beyond my doula work but I think it is so important that mommas see not only my craft but also my heart and soul. Here is a little window into how I prepare for fall: pulling out my old wool blankets, switching out my summer beach bag for a wavy gingham canvas tote and baking the perfect pumpkin cookies.     Make sure to LIKE, SHARE, FOLLOW and SAVE for the future to revisit 🌟 I love this protein packed egg bite because… 🍳nutrient dense ingredients 🍠easy digestible 😋warming and healing Make them ⬇️ My sweet potato turkey sausage egg bites 🍠🍳🍠🍳🍠 Makes 13 muffins * 1 tbsp olive oil * 5 large eggs * 1 medium sweet potato, peeled + cubed * 3 turkey breakfast sausage links * sea salt and pepper * parchment paper muffin cups Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line muffin tins with parchment paper cups or use silicon greased with olive oil. In a large bowl, whisk eggs and add in cubed sweet potato + cubed turkey breakfast sausage. Add salt and pepper. Pour into each muffin cup and place into oven for 15-25 minutes (I’ve had different times with different client’s ovens). Look for the muffins to be fully set in the middle and golden on the top. Allow to cool and enjoy! These are great to freeze too. Some mommas want to devote a session per week just to making nourishing foods, some prefer one hour of some quick protein bites.     Hydrated postpartum mommas don’t gatekeep 🤱🏼🤰🏻🍹💦 Make sure to LIKE, SHARE, FOLLOW and SAVE for the future to revisit 🌟 Hydration during pregnancy and postpartum is super essential 💦 I encourage mommas to look at their water source and truly notice that most don’t offer the minerals our bodies need. I rather a momma invest in spring mineral water than using fancy water filters to find that their tap water contains very little minerals and a whole lot of fluoride. I’ll leave that research to you - we all have different feelings on what is nourishing water. But let’s dive into additional ways to hydrate ⬇️ 💗warming soup with bone broth - love the minerals 💗watermelon and lemonades - sometimes this is the best motivation for hydration without using electrolyte packets of sugar 💗herbal lattes - delish! I love adding coconut milk to an herbal tea and before you know it, you’ll be craving them! 💗popsicles - take a simple spring water, add some blueberry juice, a squeeze of lemon and some basil with wild honey and you have the best treat. These specific ceremonial sessions are focused on maternal healing for right after birth. I created this session to bridge the gap from giving birth to being home for the first few days.
