walking back from the market came across a celebration of life where the family was releasing lanterns and playing music for their deceased father. it was beautiful and they welcomed us into the celebration and even let me send a lantern up! h

That barrel roll at 0:36... my heart melted...
Hi Shappell, do you have the time and location for this sighting? You can also post your sighting at www.jellywatch.org Thanks!
The seal has a number on his back
yea marine biologists probably tagged him and are tracking him. they study individual seals like this. they said in the video that his designation is L6

Thanks for your kind words. Tere are so many young pople today who don't realize how vital WWII was to the survival of the world as we know it today. Jim
@jmorris041 Wow! Well we thank you for your service sir. In my opinion, I don't think you guys got enough credit for what you did back then, and I am horrified to see my current generation so quick to forget that. Thanks again.
I was the radar man on this plane that went down on a training flight on June 26, 1944 due to a gas leak, There were 13 men on board and all survived with various injuries. This was crew 14 of VPB116. We went on ito combat and survived the war. We served in the Central Pacific. The pilot was LT. Bill Miller who received the Nay Cross and the crewmembers received the DFC. James H Morris Garland Texas

To undulate: Move with a smooth, wavelike motion
Dude you are so lucky. We never see them in such calm water here in Kohala.
I hate it when that happens! ;-)
Well...it shows that most of these comments come from people who dont know what they ar talking about...this happens to be one of the fastest waves in the world...but it's also one of the most elusive...those in the known know where it's at...and the whiners on here dont know much about surfing
Awesome!
oh hooker as thong garbage can! give him the $100,000 dollars!
my god your a bunch of kooks-it was sick wave he surfed it well- what else matters... all you 'web surfers' get fucked
Oh PLEASE its like 2 feet deep in that pool
I think those are pilot fish, and as shappell said they are using it for protection. From wha I know about them, they are immune to the jellyfish's sting. If something went after them it would end up with a nasty sting.
Yo, Shapp, Phil! That is sweeeeet!!
i'd say they're using him for cover! they were hiding under the mantle and darting around in the tentacles! it was cool to watch!
Pretty short tube. The wave was good but he outran the tube by miles.
What thats sick! you were free diving? thats the toilet bowl, right? you were sooooooooo close to those guys!
defiantly not a long barrel

youre very lucky :)
Oh, how lucky you are.
listen careful at the end
are you blind?
nice vid, thanks for posting. I just did that dive last week and was looking to see if anyone posted one of the cave. There were 2 whitetips when I was there. I have a vid I'll post eventually.
