Our buddy bought this turbocharged Lightning from another buddy so it needed some test runs. Started off low boost and kept adding a little more throughout the night.

@@user-dc1pe7qq9j they are plug welds, we made a firewall filler panel to cover all the holes n the firewall… plug welded holes we punched roughly every 2” and ground them smooth… seam sealed the inside…

That thing is a beast. The fit looks perfect too. What do you call the rails that you used for front end? Front end frame and engine mounts?
@@user-zy3ji1mr4j it fits like a glove, we lower the car down onto the engine which is still attached to the stand, then bolt up the k member with is what houses the engine mounts, the front end is just a tubular front end, it’s a 417 kit, and the k member is a team z… it’s a 7.3 Godzilla with ultimate headers, and a btr intake and cam, powered thru a jolt harness
they look a little tall, do you think these would fit on a Pontiac G8 without completely blowing out underneath?

How long and what process did ya take to get paint off I tried burning it with torch just to test and it sorta warped and paint remover would be forever task for inside
@@Treyricketts we lit fires top to bottom and burned it out… it warped a little, but still functions great

@@AddictedToOctane Very low volume. Speakers turned up to max and often your words are inaudible. Seems like you are way to fasr from the microphone. Be well.

We were slowing ramping n the boost…. Started at 3psi on the line and 6 on the big end, up to 6 on the line and 15 on the big end… wayyyy more to go, just taking it up slow, making sure suspension is tuned good and we have everything else squared away

@AddictedToOctane ok thanks. I've been looking at possibly purchasing a grapple and I've been looking at the summit grapple and the root rake by Everything Attachments. Yours look very similar to those.
