Ice fishing Lake St. Clair in Fair Haven, Michigan Aka "Dink City" 1-21-24
Переглядів 1615 місяців тому
Went out ice fishing on Lake St. Clair with Cody96. We didn't catch much of anything but some dink perch, It was still nice to get out there on the machine though. Fair Havens Bouvier Bay has a solid 6-8 inches of ice and should be fairly safe for machines now, Have fun and get out there boys!

      I cut the bottom and sides so the bark don’t strip 👍🏻

  • @Deepgoat
    @Deepgoat 6 днів тому

    Whilst I understand the lack of equipment and the circumstances a proper cut is necessary, a crappy job like this could very well be the beginning of the death of a tree that is older than yourself. Idk why you would upload it too. Don't act like it wasn't possible to climb up above that branch and cut it lmao.

    • @MidwestAntics
      @MidwestAntics 4 дні тому

      Why is it necessary to do all that, when you can undercut it and drop it? No bark was stripped and the cut is clean.

    The weight of the branch can damage the main trunk of the tree .It’s better to cut it in appropriate pieces rather than a large piece of branch .

      We didn’t have a way to get up, So I did a nice undercut and side cut with my echo so the bark didn’t peel and let it rip

      1981 and before are 100% copper. It’s softer than steel and won’t harm the bluing. Rub the edge of the penny over thick patches of rust to remove it. Lubrication helps.

    • @MidwestAntics
      @MidwestAntics Місяць тому

      I never had this problem but now that you mention it I read online it has happened to quite a few people with ford engines. I’d drop the pan and see if you can find it, If not worst comes to worse. Your truck will probably chew that plastic up like nothing.

    • @Jay-jt3zy
      @Jay-jt3zy Місяць тому

      @MidwestAntics I took the valve cover off and used a flexible grabber claw and got it out. There is a magnet inntjwbend of that broken piece so letting the engine chew it up could be bad if it doesn't go straight into the pan

    • @MidwestAntics
      @MidwestAntics Місяць тому

      @@Jay-jt3zy I’m glad you were able to get it resolved, Sounds like you went about it the best way possible. I’m going to pin your comment so if anyone else has this problem it’s easy to see what you did 👍🏻

    I have a service model chambered in 38 Special with the pork chop style shroud. It has a matt finish instead of the high polish blue finish. I wasn't aware of this style of Dan Wesson revolver until I found this at a LGS. I also have the later style in .357 Magnum made in 1977. I haven't seen another pork chop shroud revolver at any of the other gun shows since I bought this one. Yours looks to be in perfect condition. Thanks for the video.

    • @MidwestAntics
      @MidwestAntics 9 місяців тому

      They are great revolvers with very nice double action triggers, I’m going to use mine this deer season if I can get one close enough. The pork chop is definitely harder to find but they do make pork chop shroud attachments so you can use the later version barrel and shroud.
