Whoever comes in for the job still has the question of 'Who do you build the team around? What's the base?'. There really isn't anyone. Oso and Richie are getting older, the Italians aren't performing and we want them gone, the majority of the rest are at best squad players, Spicer maybe? There really is no core anymore. It's another rebuild with some money but not a lot and a couple of non performing assets that are here for the next 2 years and they will continue to suck all the life out of the corpse that is TFC right now. The next 2 years will be Hell. We will have San Jose levels of competence at best.

Let me vent. I remember in a world cup some years ago (forgive me, I'm old and my memory on dates is iffy now) where in the final Boateng for the Netherlands kicked an opposing player in the chest, studs up, within the first 10 minutes and f*cking Howard Webb did not call a red card but waved it off. I think he may have given a yellow but I can't be sure of it. What I do know is it should have been a straight red and a send off but Webb went with the FIFA sh*t.. don't want to spoil the game for the punters. F*ck that guy. I have hated him since that moment and I seethe under the fact he is in charge now. F**k that guy. Webb is the problem.

Good show guys. Agree refs are abysmal but they are pretty much everywhere where there is any sort of disparity in the teams playing, size wise. It is a money driven industry after all. (I know they sub in the word 'results' for money but this is what they mean when they say it).

Good show again guys. Thanks. Just wanted to say that the potential $30Mil the team will pay IL over the next 2 years is a sunk cost; it's done. No one is going to take that on unless the team agrees to pay the majority of it and why do that, absorb the cost to have him play somewhere else? Maybe just get him an easy chair so he can sit at the end of the bench as a monument to Bill Manning's atrocious deal making ability and use him whenever you think he can play for a few minutes without breaking. It's going to be an ugly time until the '27 season begins when we can finally turn the page.

I stopped my Apple TV subscription. I don't go to the games. I will follow the team and will listen to it on radio if I can find it there and I'll watch the highlights but otherwise I'm not putting the little time I have left into this team.

i agree with you regarding the Designated Players. The problem has been running for years now, to the point where it appears to be a chronic issue for the club
