I only came to watch the video because of the dog 😍 but you sing beautiful too 🥰🫶
Long version please❤
Beautiful ❤
Great video! I want to come visit the gallery out at Butte to see her wonderful work!
Is the sound worth it?
Yes, very much so. I mix in the box a lot also, but prefer the workflow and sound of analog mixing.
They should make a desk like that with 3 rows of 500 series and automation
There’s inserts on every channel so you can use a 500 module and another insert. I have comps in a rack but could have more 500 units also.
@@DaveElke didn’t know that, thanks!
Sorry but as an engineer surely you know not to record through the damn phone mic, why not upload the recorded audio and put that in the video
0:58 the first 5 notes here reminded me of George Benson's This Masquerade. Why is that? I'm not really schooled.
Ohh, I should do a lesson on that song. I love playing that one.
I wish more time was spent looking at the art in the exhibition. Yes, it is nice to hear the show's concept and the color used to enhance the art space, but the art being displayed is the most important.
You nailed it❤

How funny I just got this recommended to me. I almost chose this song for the Kaleidoscope jazz ensemble. It was between Beautiful Love and All The Things You Are
Check out the Anita O'Day version.

Great Job man.

Never have I seen such a thorough analysis of Take Five! Just fantastic.
An, I tend to dive deep into each song, just can’t help it ha!

I was there for this song in the 60s! Best time for music!!!
Looks easy enough, the rhythm riff ….not so much.
Hi, bonjour bravo Dave !!! I like what you do, great rendition, I subscribed to your channel !!!! I'm a 71 years old french guy and I cover the greatest hits of my youth the 60' !!!! Sure you will like !!!!! Would you please be so kind and have a look at it !!! I dream to have 300 memberships till my 72th birthday !!!! Would you be so kind and help me to realize that ? Thanks a lot in advance, friendly greetings from France Serge
Love the XL-Desk and I'm going to steal your setup from 9 to 16. What modules are you using on each?
Great feel! Cornell's feel always sounded so good.
I trained it Long time ago in Dänemark on Holiday … but forgot it anyhow up to this time.
Wow, I would love to travel there some day!
Very well done, Dave! I’ve been putting off diving deeper into jazz guitar( I’m more of a horn player for jazz) but now I’m starting with Take 5! Your video is well structured and easy to follow Thanks!
Songs like Autumn Leaves and Blue Bossa are good starting points as well, cheers.
Well played ! A great tune for sure !
Thank you for your video. Not often do you see such a distressed finish JG BM Special like that. Although as a JG appreciator, I do recall of a goldtop BM Special in the USA that went to a luthier named Dave Johnson for a high-end finish 'makeover'. Most of these BM Specials and Junior models were built in the USA by PBL so to be more affordable for USA customers. Although Johan Gustavsson obviously would have built some prototypes in Sweden.

Lovely sounding telecaster, i will be following for sure.
Thanks! It’s an old Lentz. Welcome to the channel
These goddam Shorts r nuthin but a Utoob money grab, to compete w/ Tik & FaceCrack Reels. Phone screens can't allow a straight-on shot of the frtbd, so the headstock shoots frwd into the upper-right corner. Waste of extra time trying to make out the fingerings on everyone's Shorts. What horseshyt.
