Ok thanks
I have it that thang catches everything
Great lure ... I use 130 mm best for catfiah
💞Wow🧡🧡🧡🧡💜🧡💜💜
Hey there! Is this the prorex XT rod?
No it’s not the XT. Is that a new one? I just googled it.. I wonder how it would compare. I saw the XT is $100 while the ones I have are $150-170
@@austinkroos I honestly don’t even know, trying to find out the difference between this XT and the ones you have! Trying to make the purchase today!
110s where its at for them hog topwater strikes
True that homie 💯🔥 I’ve got one in the loon color that is all chewed up with tons of nice ones on it. Love that bait
Nice smallie
Thanks!
Cast Master
Can’t go wrong with that choice 💯🔥
This is why they break, why would you do that too a rod you weren’t buying
These rods in particular are meant to be able to do that
It s good for chub fishing ?
I think it might be a little big but maybe for big chubs!
💞Wow🧡🧡🧡🧡🤍🤍🤍🧡🤍
what a snag!
Thank you brotha!
Minnesota’s season doesn’t open until June 1st
Dang.. forgot about Minnesota’s season being different. Thank you for the comment bro!
who made the glide bait? @austinkroos
Nel-Starr Lures
Have to get me 1 of those PRO SHIRTS with my Name on it---- Makes you look BIG TIME out on the water.
Agreed! I’m going to have to look into getting one myself 😂💯
Great rods, but quite stiff after spiral X. St Croix Legend Elite are more versatile. For jigging, NRX are more sensitive but not to a point of you missing bites with an Elite. GLX, however, are simply incredible especially in the light power. They float in your hand.
Right on. 👍 Thanks for sharing! Tight lines out there
Just bought it
I hope you catch some on it! 🔥
You not making any sense at all; first you say comfortable it's what focus on then you follow with whatever you think should be thrown out the window... This is dumbest advice ever 😂
Sorry if my explanation was confusing. My main point is that the best baitcaster is the one that feels most comfortable for you personally. Everyone has different preferences, and it’s important to choose what works best for you. Thanks for the feedback - I’ll try to make my advice clearer in future videos!
In my opinion Gloomis NRX jig rod is the best on this planet, Can’t speak for the rest of the galaxy. Save your pennies and buy one, you will never regret it.
Thank you for the comment! I’ll start saving those pennies!
Brown trout in April !! Amazing, you guys. 🙂
Thank you, Lake Michigan has been blessing us this year 🙏
I appreciate you watching!

Thank you so much for watching brotha 👊💯

Thank you 🙏 I appreciate you watching!
Where is that at in the Chain O Lakes? Is it grass lake ?
I think so, but I’m still very new to the chain so I’m not 100% sure
Buy used
Yes I have 5 G.Loomis shimano conquest rods smh 2 903 SJR and 3 904 MBR
Sheeesh I see you 👀🔥
Well done Austin. Hope to catch ya out there 😎👍🎣
Thank you so much. Tight lines my friend! 💯🎣
Straight retrieve? Or do you jig it? Or what
Straight retrieve is my favorite but I like to mix it up and try different cadences too. Reel and pause, jigging it in, reeling slow or fast, etc.
I got . I have not tried it in 3 months yet .
Let me know how you like it! They feel super nice 👍
@@austinkroos , I tried it last week . not to bad .
Nice lure , now show us how it catches fish !
Been tough… had one northern pike swipe at it this spring but hoping it’ll happen soon! 🔥
Awesome catches and video my guy! 🔥
Thank you my friend 🙏 means a lot!
Your bps or whatever store you're at is badass.
Thanks brotha! I’m at the Cabelas/Bass Pro Shops in Hoffman Estates!
Lefty on both
Dude thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Gary Loomis sold G Loomis to Shimano a bit back. G Loomis rods are actually a Shimano product not a Gary Loomis product. He since started Edge rods. I'm considering a black widow. Very nice rods, US made. He sells direct to customer so no markup.
Thanks for the info! I’ll have to check them out 💯
Check them out. Be curious to know what you think. @@austinkroos
Awesome catches! What are your favorite baits for musky on the chain?
Thank you my friend! So far, my favorite is a shallow swimming dog, good old fashioned bucktails, and then I LOVE topwaters like the Poe’s Giant Jackpot. 💯
@@austinkroos Thank you!
I bought a handful of these, gonna tie 1 on my new combo and dedicate some time!!! Tight lines
Let me know how you do! It works well for me. I like to work it a lot of different ways too. Jigging, slow retrieve, fast retrieve, etc. play around with it for sure! Tight lines my friend 👊
I disagree, if you are right handed! You are doing the most dexterity tasks with the right hand. Like thumb breaking, twitching pole, casting and so on. Yet the left only has one simple job of reeling in one direction with different speeds which is super easy to learn that small adjustment. If you are right handed get a left hand retrieve with a gear ratio right in the middle 7.1 or 6.2. Everyone I have thought baitcasting basics has enjoyed, stuck with and never tried it any other way. Even older baitcaster fishermen have switched instead of the old switching hands and controlling spool.
It’s all about preference in my opinion. I was taught very young by my dad who was taught by his dad (my grandpa) and back then they only had right handed bait casters. For most, it’s just what we’re used to and also what feels most comfortable for us. There’s no right or wrong way, just whatever feels best for you!
I tried the 60 for the first time ever yesterday and caught a nice rock bass in a waterhole we thought only had gar and catfish. I was the only one to catch anything. little to say they work
Nice! Those 60’s have done real well for me so far. It’s actually the first and only bait that I’ve ever caught two bass at once with! Tight lines brotha 👊
Go to a 6.1 reel!
Promo-SM ✨
How much does the 9'5 weigh?
This is why I don't by rods off the rack anymore. Either online or I build myself
Nice catches man, I’ve been hoping to grab a lake front house on the chain for a year now, hoping next few months are my chance
Thank you for watching! I hope you get the house of your dreams my friend!
Or chk your equipment first lol sorry had to bust your stones!!
Rookie mistake 🤦♂️😅
Plopped
Try fishing it on the bass pro cranking stick youll feel the bait working
That’s my next rod to purchase 💯 which one do you rock for Chatterbaits?
💪🏼💪🏼
👊💯
Awesome video and awesome fish dude 🔥 Musky got that adrenaline going 😮
Thank you so much for watching brother! And yes.. the adrenaline rush from a musky is INSANE‼️
