This boss fight made me really come to grips with the fact that the fixed camera is horrible for this fight. If you were at the north end of the tunnel, you were practically blind.

I don't know about others but if i were a soldier during ww2 in a jungle and all of a sudden i got fucking stabbed by arrows while some invisible guy jumped around while hearing the sounds of his limbs moving in ways that shouldn't be hunanely possible, i'd be shitting bricks. The guy earned his title for me

The pain for me is one of the best bosses simple mechanics yet effective

This fight just gets better the more you play it. Last time through I was chasing his old ass up and down Sokrovenno, like breathing down his neck, staying right on him as he kept hitting me with stuns and running all over the place. The old goat pulled a pretty good one on me though, I'd been charging after him for a while when he lay down and camped on the side of the path he'd been running up and shot me right in the head as I ran past him. Have to give him props for that one.

I swear this guy was a pain in the ass to fight on extreme 😡

I play this when I wrestle with my kids. They hear this song and instantly get the feral gleam in their eyes...

Easy way to beat The Pain. AK-47 and WP Grenades. Use the AK to shoot him and his grenades. When he covers himself in bees, use the WP Grenade. This is how i beat him. Hope this helps new MGS3 players!

Il n'y a que Hideo Kojima pour réussir un tel prodige. Il a su intégrer le temps à son art. Ce bref moment saisit brutalement le coeur du joueur qui ressent sa propre vie défiler, du jour où il decouvrit cette menaçante caméra fièrement dressée jusqu'à sa misérable chute en poussière. Et là le joueur réalise qu'il a lui aussi bien vieilli :-) et the Best is yet to come participe au drama :-D
