A name becoming more common for the Bull Trout (salvelinus confluentus), is Mountain Char. This is in keeping with the geographical names in the genus, like Arctic Char, Lake Char, Brook Char and Pacific Char (Dolly Varden - salvelinus fontinalis). I only mention this because I think this sounds better than Bull Trout!
Also because it both preys on, and occupies the same habitats as Mountain Whitefish, I suspect
Correction - Pacific Char are salvelinus malma. Not salvelinus fontinalis (brookies)
