Walk Into History
Germany
Приєднався 3 лис 2013
Ambient and informative walking tours! I'm an American living in Berlin since 2017. My name is Tony Hegemann and in 2015 I backpacked for 3 months through Europe and fell in love with the art, architecture and the history. When I got back home, I quit my job, sold my house, and moved to Germany. Now, I want to share the wonders of Europe with as many people as possible. When I’m not making videos, I’m painting. You can find my art on Instagram under hegemannart. A like. A subscribe. A comment. It all helps! Thanks!

I cold hear you!!!
Dang! All the leaves are gone!
There are still some here and there, but a lot are gone now. :(
That coffee does look good also, some good looking pastries.
Nice tour of Vienna at night.
What the heck is the loud banging noise?
Hello
Enjoyed the video!
Thank you! I'm going to do more live streams, I've just been trying to figure out the best way to do them with the best quality.
Absolutely loving the Channel Tony. Keep them coming. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback! I have a couple similar videos in the making. :)
What town is this, and where?
Yo Jersey Mike! I just put the location in the title. It's called Cesky Krumlov and it's in the Czech Republic. It's a super cool place, but I'd recommend it in the fall when there's a lot of fog there. :)
What ever your problem was --good video after the 20 minute mark.
You're breaking up at 5:00 minutes
I can hear you.
Were those some kind of potatoes o the ground near the end of your video?
😂
@@mithonarith I was picking up stuff for other people!!! 😂🤣
@ right.
Wow! I had no idea such a place existed with bears guarding the castle!
Me neither! :) We were pleasantly surprised when we saw a warning sign about not climbing over a fence and being eaten by a bear. Haha!!
Oha
😂👌🏻💪🏼
Creepy and beautiful!
It was foggy almost the whole time we were there, but it was soooo cool. Perfect atmosphere for a medieval town. :)
Beautiful! I like the time lapse.
@@Christ-CenteredTeaching2Ne11_6 Glad you like it!! I’ve been playing with Timelapse and hyperlapse. I’ll be posting the results soon. :)
@@WalkIntoHistory I'm not familiar with hyperlapse. I just read up on it. Interesting!
i was surprised at the number of business establishments names that are in English. I would have expected most of them to be in Czech.
@@normheg2342 I didn’t even notice that. 😂 I noticed a lot of stuff is still in German.
Wow
Пройдусь по Абрикосовой .................
Incredible video Tony! I feel confident I could go there and know what to do, how to spend my time and where to eat all because of this in-depth overview. I did have a question about language. Did you find it was easy to navigate restaurants and museums? Do a lot of natives speak English?
Thank you, good sir!! I hope to do more videos soon and I'll make sure to add the question about the language. Of all the traveling I've done over here, rarely could I not communicate with people in English. It does happen from time to time, but 95% it's not a problem.
Enjoying your video from St George Utah, USA.
Yum Yum loved the look of Elefant Cafe...wouldnt miss going to try out the food.
It was delicious!! It was a tough choice, though. My cake was a crepe cake. It was layer stacked upon layer of crepe, with the creme and chocolate in-between layers.
Appears to be a really interesting way to spend a couple days. Enjoyed your addition to the history of the area. Suggesting the Karlovy Card is a way to a great way to feel free to visit more sites.
The card was definitely a good choice. It saved us money and we did a couple things we otherwise wouldn't have done.
Let’s go!
Yeah, buddy!! Let's go travel and eat sausage!!
Карловы Вары? В Германии?????
В Чехии. Раньше это был немецкий город, но ситуация изменилась после Первой и Второй мировых войн.
Karlovy Vary is anything but a hidden gem! It is one of the most visited towns in Czech Republic and one top 10 SPA destinations in the whole Europe
Right you are! I guess the reason I consider it a "hidden gem," is that so many people visit Prague and over-look Karlovy Vary. But, you are correct.
I love all the bright colors on the homes and such a wide variety of colors.
It's a beautiful little town! Trying all the mineral springs was such a cool experience.
Oh, how I want to visit this marvelous city just once!
I hope you can see it some day! Each neighbourhood has its own vibe. I'll be posting more videos trying to capture the diversity of this city. Thanks for the comment!
Another beautiful video that made me feel like I was there. All of your videos create within me a strong desire to visit Berlin. Next September!!
Thank you!! I'm waiting for your visit!! :)
Very cool contrast between it being full of life vs empty of it
Nice! Glad you enjoyed it!
The early morning atmosphere is pretty peaceful!
Hey! Thank you so much for the support! I'm looking forward to some gardening videos! :)
Just found you in a FB group. Will be by in a sec with my main channel.
🙋🏿♀️
Awesome video!! Would love to go to Germany!
@@CarnageoffroadUSA Thanks, man! And thanks for the love on the videos.
Went to Amsterdam for the first time this past June. It’s beautiful there
@@CarnageoffroadUSA Love Amsterdam! Thinking about going there next week.

Thanks!! A lot more to come! :)
I enjoy watching this on full screen and pausing every 10 or 15 seconds when near the Cathedral to really study the architecture. Have you ever taken the tour boat that I see on the Spree River?
There is so much to see!! I have never done a boat tour in Berlin. We rented a little boat out by Potsdam and paddled around. :)
Love this good work
Thank you!!!
Hey! I'd love feedback! Longer shots, shorter shots, longer video? Thanks!
Great photography. An explanation of what we're seeing would be a plus.
@@normheg2342 Thanks for the input! I'm currently working on a video that will be filled with information. I wanted these videos to be more ambient, but maybe I'll start putting small captions with the names of the buildings.
Priceless!
Insane!
The clouds!!
Nice!
Nice!
What?
Yo!
И вот всё это будет превращено в прах, когда Иисус придёт и возьмёт власть на Земле в свои руки.
That would be a bummer.
Mind-blowing! Wowza!
@@Christ-CenteredTeaching2Ne11_6 Thank you, kind sir!! Learning my new laptop. Should have some cool videos going up in the next couple weeks. :)
