Formed in 1995, The Buffalo Chips are the University at Buffalo's premier lower voices acapella group. Celebrating the group's 25th anniversary in 2020, the Buffalo Chips have been bringing sweet tunes to Western New York ever since! Notable achievements include three ICCA Finals appearances in 2010, 2011, and 2021, and featured songs on BOCA 2009 and Voices Only 2013. Most recently releasing an EP in 2021, the Chips are all about sharing the love of wings, the Buffalo Bills, and great music to anyone who will listen!

Hey! I know those guys!
Well, that was a lot of fun.
Don't Fear the Reaper was missed opportunity to really soften the dynamics; like bring it down to just 3 voices singing at mezzo piano. The performance was too consistent in terms of loudness. Also the choreography was too distracting and messy. Try to shoot for fewer yet sharper, more precise movements that impact the "story" of the song. The lead vocalists were very good and should probably peruse singing professionally. They have the stage presence and the skills. Lastly I really loved the complexity of the arrangement. I highly appreciated the key changes. Those are never easy to do acapella.
