You could have done some background research and you would know what he's singing about. Obviously you weren't paying attention to the visuals of the MV or you would have understood that the kid is singing about his adoption and the love he has received from his adoptive parents (it's not hard to tell that he's SE Asian, and not Mediterranean in his looks).
