Janet Jackson Live in Boston 06 28 24
Janet is someone I had a huge crush on when I was a kid. I watched her on TV before she became a big pop star. I've been into her music for many years now, but I never saw her in concert. On June 28th, I finally saw her. Such an incredible experience. Her performance, her dancers, the musicians, the staging, and the spectacular lighting all added up to an awesome show. I really didn't have high expectations. I'm so glad my expectations were wrong. For the Janet Jackson fans out feeling hesitant about seeing her in concert nowadays: don't hesitate! She still has it and then some. I wish she did multiple shows for her Boston stop. I would see her again for sure. I wish I had seen her sooner. Janet is awesome!

I was at night one as well. I ended up going to nights two and four because the show was so awesome. I wish I had gone to night three. I don't usually go to multiple shows like that. Mitski is so good, though. I had just discovered her prior to seeing her in concert. I wish I had known about her a lot sooner. She's awesome!

Her dancing style reminds me of a mix between Kate Bush and Björk.
I definitely can see the Bjork similarities. By the way, I saw Bjork while I was in Tokyo years ago. Not in concert, though she had one there at the time. She was exploring gift shops in Asakusa, Tokyo. She was checking out some weird dresses. I didn't approach her. I respected her space. She's fascinating. Much like Mitski. Oh, Bjork was in Tokyo to perform at Orchard Hall. It was in December 2001.

Loved the Crowes since day one, seen them dozens of times, and to claim this is not a great performance is just plain silly.
It was an awesome show. The purists will never be okay with them as they are now. The show was a lot of fun. I came out of it feeling happy. 😁
Just saw this show on 4/10 in Collingswood NJ and had 2nd row seats right in front of Satch...it was definitely worth the additional cost for those tickets...awesome guitar show!!!

I agree with you. I saw them years ago with KISS. They had much more of a presence that night. I do wonder if they were thrown off a bit on this night due to Skid Row cancelling their set. It was a co-headline tour. Skid Row cancelled due to health reasons. The weather was awful too on that day. It was a rough day.
