Hello! Thanks for the comment and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Well this town is pretty chill. There are a few things to do, but because of it’s close proximity to Bogotá many people just go there. Also this town sits next to two other towns literally walking distance so you have choices of clubs, bars and parks. They have malls and on certain weekends the government of the town has certain activities on the weekends. For me it’s fun 😊.

Thanks for the comment. I take local airlines such as Wingo and vivaair(no longer in operation). Wingo tend to be the cheapest for me at the moment. But other airlines such as Avianca, etc. are also available. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the comment. That particular car wash was about $20.000cop, on the outside of Bogotá in a town. Other services depending if you’re getting a basic wash up to all the extras can range from 15.000cop up to 60.000cop, I’m the Bogotá and surrounding areas.

Oh I understand. My personal opinion, it’s not worth it if you plan on making really big money. But if you are planning on living a modest Colombian lifestyle it’s good. But, if you can find a really good area and offer amazing an service, then you can charge more and do very well. I would say give it a shot and see what happens, it could possibly be very lucrative. Location is the key.

That's good you have the business mindset. I am working on something of my own. A laundry service sounds good. The car wash is also good. Because the bar and restaurant is over saturated in my opinion and your two options will bring more things that people actually need. Just have good planning and execution and remember to research the laws and regulations before opening. I look forward to seeing and going to one of your businesses!

Thanks for the comment. I actually had a conversation about this with a Colombian friend. I was told that some providers have E-sims electronic SIM cards you can sign up for. Try to look into that. I hope this helps a little.

I understand. Yes, you are correct that big dental places charge more, not because of being a foreigner just because that’s their pricing system. Keep in mind that it’s normally a pay per visit. So if any dental place try to charge the complete price up front I would probably ask a bit more questions. As for my dentist, sorry that I can’t provide her information on here, but as for the price. I paid a total of around $80 thousand pesos for the initial visit. Then $60 thousand pesos for every visit there after. Hopefully that provides an idea. Thanks again and feel free to ask questions. I try my best to provide a response.

I appreciate it bro, glad it was a little informative. It is not a big named dentistry, it’s family owned and only operates in the town, but she does good work. Since I live near the town it was easy for me to find. But if you’re new and coming for dental work I would recommend one of the big names such as dentix.

I appreciate the comment. If you don’t have a visa then you are required to show a return ticket to the airline you are departing from. But, sometimes round trips are cheaper than one ways. Also, if you plan on returning on a different date, you can buy the airline insurance and just change the ticket to a later date at no cost. As for the visa, yes after a certain length of time seeking legal help if you feel like you need to, to get a visa for long term stay would be recommended. And for a retirement visa the process is a bit easier than other types of visas. I hope this helps, and feel free to ask if you have any questions.

@@samdicatinglife8275 thank you for everything brother Im a fish out of water I'm trying to figure out if I will be able to get my Visa weather is tourist visa or marriage whatever is quicker I will have to hit the ground running get legal help for Visa. I'm just hoping that I could get it before the 90 days expire on passport. I really would hate to have to leave and buy new ticket to come back. This the part that no one really talks about on travel channel. I will straighten it out because I have one way ticket my ignorance. I'm thinking I would just leave before it expired somewhere in South America closer than Texas I am happy answer.

Thanks for commenting. If leaving from the USA and you don’t have a visa, then yes you are required to have a return ticket. But every airline is different. And maybe you can get the credit back from your return ticket and use it at a later date in the future. But check with the airline first. I hope this helps a little.

Thanks for the comment. Yes you can start the process from the USA. But you will have to be in Colombia to take the picture and register. Or you can sign power of attorney and have a reputable agency do it on your behalf and you can send them a headshot. I hope this helps just a little.
