We Went 4wd Camping Of Grid To Wedge island

My first six months in 2021 after work going thru the bush getting out of camp having a look around, flying my drone, found a dry river bed that was flowing just before xmas, six months later it was just a dry river bed . Changed jobs and went down sth where I found this turn of the century railway station

Put the boat in early ,chasing the elusive Dhu fish, going round the point on a nice morning with no wind and very little swell . Dhu fish are hard to catch even on a good day.

We had a big squid day of Fremantle in Pedros boat ,even got a Arrow Squid ,had a blast with 30 gram squid jigs in 30 meters of water got some good big size squid for the day .

Scooping for crabs hasn't changed much over the years in 2021 its the same as when we wear kids ,scooping on a low tied with the wind light will yield a crab fest in the summer moths .

BBQ Cattleman Cutlets on at remote Pilbara BHP camp with no cutlery, just a thermometer ,bbq and beer, now that's a challenge but cook these cutlets right 56 degrees on the bbq and rest for 15 mins and bag what a feed, when you buy a cattleman cutlets get them at least 1 kilo & throw on to hot bbq ,rest cutlets for 10 and enjoy.

Why are the claws of marrons so small in proportion to the body? Do their claws get proportionately bigger and closer to the width of the body as they grow older? We've all seen yabbies with claws bigger than the body itself. Why is the marron different?
Not sure about that one 🤔 but have got smaller Marron with same size claws as the big ones .
@@arvoadventuresaos364 Why are marrons of above 500 grams so rare to find despite sources officially claiming that they reach up to 2.2 kg?
