Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray 2016 - Canyon Drive
Experience the C7 Corvette Stingray. This American classic aligns with previous entries in the Corvette family with the familiar 2-door, RWD layout. This Stingray is stimulating to drive, with plenty of power and torque from the big 6.2L LT1 V-8, up front under that long hood. This particular example sports a Borla aftermarket exhaust system which boosts the volume of the already great-sounding engine to a new level. Pair that with a removable roof panel, and twisty roads become your playground as you listen to the howling V-8 and wind rushing around you.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting available via paddle shifters. Shift times are admittedly not up to the high standard of modern gearboxes, but it seems fitting to the car. From the outside, the car looks aggressive in Shark Grey with simple black interior and sporty red brake calipers. The driver’s seat is comfortable and interior controls are oriented towards the driver which adds to the sporty feel. The Stingray is not hyper-focused on performance however, as the seats offer plenty of comfort and the suspension is surprisingly forgiving over bumps. The ride height is not very low, so clearing curbs and speed bumps was not a worry.
