Wow, thanks for the video and saving me the cash! There is a free version that does exactly the same thing on NexusMods called 'Functional Ship Infirmaries' i wanted to see the difference.

There are quite a few differences. It’s “same concept, different implementation”. Useful Infirmaries adds AI packages to “doctor” NPCs so they are more likely to frequent the infirmary habs. Aid items populate on your ship aid/chem containers at random when boarding your ship (higher chance if more doctors). Currently Useful Infirmaries uses in-game resources to heal your character. The next update will include a game option to choose if it uses aid items, costs credits, or is free. Handling of bed view and menu flow (not needing to exit the bed and re-enter for each option). With that said, depending on what you’re looking for and if you’re on PC Functional Ship Infirmaries may be all you want. That or Rosie is a Real Doctor.
