So sorry i did not see this message until now, my bad, Tig welding is the way forward for true strength at its melting both parts and adding filler wire its all rooted as one, where as silver Brazing low tep stuff is not long term,, but proper s, i, b brazing is ok and will have a better shelf life and is stronger than silver flux braze but you are only glueing them together

No 4mm steel tube for cages and 5mm for any alloy tube work i might do
