Hybrid Racing - Short shifter assembly RSX & K-swap
Quick video of the Hybrid Racing V3 Short shifter assembly installation. This shifter can be used on Acura RSX and K-swapped cars. In this video, we install it in a EK (96-00) civic with a K20 engine equipped with the Hybrid Racing shifter plate. Enjoy

Cyndie finished 3rd out of 7 cars in my class in her first race ever at Mosport with her own EK civic. This race is not even close to perfect, but Cyndie had a good start and some great battle on track. She wasn't as fast as she wanted to, but we will continue to work and do more seat time. I hope you will enjoy!

So pulling the pin and then 1 click is recommended? Or just pull the pin and it's done because I know on stock tct it's like 2 or 3 clicks?
@@yerrrrrr pull the pin and it's done. The teeth are pretty big compared to oem
@picottiracing are you running stock cams? If you aren't what cams? Because I've heard that skunk2s ultra 2 might be too aggressive and that the hybrid tct might solve the issue I'm currently having
@@yerrrrrr i'm running stock cams, but yes, you need this if you want to use bigger cams.

I noticed you are revving much higher than the stock limiters, have you made any large modifications to the K24z7 to facilitate or just re-tuned for a higher top end? I'm currently building my FG4 for GLTC
@@L8AP3X we use the prb oil pump to make sure the pump does not cavitate at high rpm. Re-tuned the car and cross our fingers that everything hold together 😅. Our rev limiter is 8000rpm
@@picottiracing oh Daamn! Are you seeing power gains still that high in the rev range in the dyno sheets? Typically mine have fallen off after 7k even with tuning. Crossing my fingers for you too!
@@L8AP3X no power gain (slowly falls off) but during the race sometimes with higher rpm we don't have to shift which gives us a little edge over low RPMs cars.

Did you not block off the oil squirter hole?
The girdle was sent to the @billetify shop and they did all the required modifications including plugging the necessary holes
Would it be possible to tell me which ones have to be blocked besides the one for all the other k series?
@@ricardorey5 it is only the single oil squirter hole. The prb oil pump covers the other sorta drain hole for the raa pump
