My child can comprehend what is being asked or answered, but doesn’t speak clearly and throws temper tantrums. I have had his hearing checked to make sure there aren’t any issues with his ear drums. Everything looks good thank God. He does not let me finish reading books to him. He maybe lets me read about 3 pages then he closes the books. He does play with other children very well. I am not sure what else can I do.

Interesting how there's tons of videos like these on YT but none of them actually give video examples of a kid demonstrating what they're talking about.

My 30 month old is far behind. He is just starting to say abc. Only has about 20 words and only uses a very few a day

I imagine most people view this channel for the same reason. Good for you for recognizing early and (hopefully) looking to get the help your child needs. My nephew is almost 3 and not close to any of these milestones, but his parents don't seem to see a problem and won't acknowledge my concerns because I'm just a bachelor, what do I know?

My kid always waits just long enough to make us question if we need to intervene and then she hits all of her milestones. It’s so nerve wracking.

If the child cannot do most of these tasks at this age, what do you suggest the parent start doing to help the child gain these milestones?

Hi Kelly! Every child is different and you can start introducing playdough whenever you are comfortable or your children are interested in it. Amy says "I found my kids were more interested in playdough around 1 year."

Last year I went to a real marsh. It was fun, the water was bubbling when I stepped into it. Maybe because of the surface. I could hardly move with my rubber boots on, but it was safe for a while. The vegetation was interesting, indeed. However, in the muddier spot, I got stuck. You should not move in that situation because you can sink. Use a nearby brench or pull your feet up slowly and you can get out safely.
