Early on, somebody creative came up with the idea that if you have a spinning ring on a space station, that would kind of simulate having gravity, and the further idea that could let you mount a set so that you could film "space station" scenes by just rotating the set while keeping the camera and actors on whatever was the real "floor" led to a very influential early film. The idea that rings and discs are convenient long outlived the need to handwave to audiences that all the gravity, air, and so on they see on space stations was backed by science. That said, even in zero gravity you still could need to do center-of-mass calculations for engineering purposes and rings and discs greatly simplify that; I think as long as we aren't making modular "building blocks" to assemble new space stations out of circles aren't going out of style either in real life or fiction.

57:40 - you can tell your friend that the 'mouth plants' are real. You can search online for 'predatory tunicate' - they live in deep sea trenches.

39:58 - When you tap control (by default) you can see your current ammo pool in the lower left. represented by 4 bars. It counts all consumable ammunition (grenades, C4, Drill fuel, etc). Since a resupply fills half of every ammo pool for your character, its best to wait until you are halfway depleted before grabbing ammunition. This is subject to the situation. For example, if you use all the ammunition for your primary weapon only, the ammo pool might show you at 75%, even though you were completely out for one weapon. And also, if you have plenty of Nitra, you can feel free to be more liberal with resupply use.

33:38 - while the Gunner's shield is useful, it has its own disadvantage. Each class is useful in their own way. The driller's C4 can also be used to quickly mine or dig a large area, and some of the mods for the C4 specifically expand its digging capacity. 41:50 - This is useful when minerals are hard to reach. The driller has a big advantage with the drills. Being able to clear out obstacles and dig paths is very useful. The best advice is learn how to use the in game map to navigate, it is of great use for the driller.

21:50 - Driller's main weapons are all short range. But excellent crowd control. While this is good, it can be a problem when you need longer reach such as caretaker mission. Driller's main weapons also ignore armor on the bugs (but generally can't break it either) and also do not do weakpoint bonus damage. All of this means, for a driller's main weapon, accuracy is not as important, just hit the target anywhere. 25:12 - Example: most other weapons can not damage the Oppressor from the front, only from behind (any glowing spot on a bug is usually it's weak point) The driller's main weapons ignore its armor and can damage it without trying to get behind it. (Some special enemies are invulnerable, marked by a gray health bar, this means you cannot damage them regardless of armor until their health bar changes. and some may be resistant to certain damage types, such as fire) - Each player develops their own style of playing any character, so take any advice with a grain of salt. there is no 'perfect' build. What works for one player may not work for another. Experiment and find what works for you. Rock and Stone
