STOP Expecting YOU in others.

Stop Expecting YOU in Others One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned is that not everyone will see the world the way you do. Not everyone will love the way you love, communicate the way you communicate, or give what you give. And that’s okay. In this video, I’m sharing my thoughts on why expecting “you” in others can lead to disappointment-and how understanding this can set you free. ✨ Have you...

It takes years and years to learn how to live like this for most people especially for me. I had no confidence in myself for so long! Life is so very short! You are so ahead of your time! 🥰🥰. As always I enjoyed listening to your post. I love you too ❤️❤️. Oh and Happy New Year!!
I hope everyone shares this video!!! Especially with younger kids that are currently struggling with this exact issue. Turn to adults in your life like teachers, counselors, etc. and they will guide you!
And yet another great topic Isabella . Authenticity is crucial . My son looked me in the eyes a few months ago and said to me that his partner loves and accepts him for who he is . That is “ huge” he said “ ma ? “ He loves me for me “ so yes be yourself. People will love and respect you for it Aint nobody got time for fakeness . Hmmmmmm I see a “ self help book “ on the rise . Love you ! ty for all you do 🌻🌻🌻

Wow! That means so much to me, thank you. 😊
I love this! Social media became the nail in the coffin for authenticity. Can’t wait until more young people catch on to this.!

hey guys! sorry for the weird audio quality, filming outside was harder than i thought it would be without a mic lol! i had to do some funky editing stuff to cut out wind and dog barks. i hope you still enjoy! :)
This doesn’t pertain to me, however, I have gotten toxicity from my home life still to this day but finally put distance between us because, seriously, enough is enough 😥.
Awesome topic Isabella . Especially for the college students that do come home and have to face particular family members toxicity . I thank God everyday for all of our Blessings that we have . Makes me sad to think about those that don’t have the blessings we have and has known . Love you, and Ty for all you do ! Xoxo 🌻🌻🌻
Hi. Is not by doing good or being good, not by good works, nor by baptism, but by faith alone, that gets you in heaven. The Gospel which means Good news, is the, death, burial, resurrection, of our Lord Jesus Christ. Believe in the Gospel and you will get saved, believe in Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, and as the Son of God. Once you are saved, by believing, the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ cleanse your spirit then the Holy Spirit seals your spirit, eternal secured, to heaven. Once you are saved, there is literally nothing you can do on earth to lose your salvation, but you will be punished on earth, but end of the day you are 100% going in heaven.
Great to see your room!! Looks so comfy and inviting. Your authenticity shines through and I love the little clips of your day to day activities. Keep sharing cause I look forward to these. This one reminds me of the idea that only you know how much you have changed. The tip to look back at your previous goals and see what you accomplished gives a sense of success so I definitely recommend that.
you have such great insight for such a young age, when I was in my early 20s I had all these feelings without being able to put words to them. I felt so confused and isolated because I wanted to express all this, or have someone out there agree with me, and I didn't have the vocabulary for it.

yeah i wouldn't do that care package either, cuz i don't think that even for myself, its not something that matters to me as much as something else does.

I don’t like to see the sadness in your eyes but your message was great. I love your example of the child starting a new school. Imagine if we always gave in to our apprehension of moving in a different direction- nothing would change. No one would grow.
Boy did this hit home. I have a hard time remembering this about people. I have a friend since I’m 4 and she now lives in Vegas but we talk everyday. She’s my everything. We literally think alike so much 😍. I can’t wait to see you just to have a great conversation 😎🥰
So when people don’t call or text me for my bday, I am ok with that because that is not something I prioritize myself. I don’t show up that way for them BUT if they need me, I am there!! I also show love by taking care of things for them like making food, doing errands, etc. which really is proof that we each have our own love language.

You're strong. I have been there (serious depression) and gotten out (a long time ago) but you're stronger than me. Your honesty and intelligence will save you. Ultimately though, you're going to have one hell of a youtube channel because you're a very good speaker, you're smart and honest. NO CLUE how you showed up on my feed because I'm NOT your demo.
Wow thank you SO much for your kind words! It all means the world to me. Thank you so so much
Your thoughts really resonate with me - in my own journey I've come to terms with forgiving those who've hurt me and moving past the grudges that I hold, but I've been completely stuck on how to make new friends because, like you, I've been caught in all or nothing thinking regarding my friendships. I want to be seen for who I really am by people who care deeply about me in the way that I care about others, but to place that expection onto everyone has left me with nothing but loneliness - I really struggle to open up in any way to people in my daily life who I don't feel can meet that criteria (ie pretty much everyone). Nobody gets to know me, because I don't let them. I so afraid of being known by those who don't like parts of me. I hyperfixate on other peoples flaws and their flawed interactions with me, and I really do let this effect how I think about myself and my own flaws in turn. I'm often consumed with envy that somehow, while being their flawed self, they are surrounded by friendship and love - but when I am my flawed self I seem to get held to impossibly high standards by my friends. It's because I already hold myself and others to those impossible standards, and I end up surrounding myself with people who think the same. I'm realizing more every day that other peoples dislike of me is more a reflection of my dislike of myself, and that self love is what I really need to work on so that the words and actions of others don't effect my sense of worth. Your perspective on diversifying your friend group in hopes of leaning from them is really eye opening! I find it difficult to make friends outside of sharing interests, but It's something I want to work on going forward. Thanks for the video! My algorithm sent me here for a reason :)
@@Bekkafly299 wow. Thank you so much for tuning in and for your beautiful thoughts. I’m so happy this helped you grow!
I can relate to this so hard!
I have just been thinking about this and this video came in the perfect time.the way you discussed this concept really helped cement the idea in my mind that people truly cannot be reduced to either good or bad. Tis a freeing thought not only for other people but for myself and I do feel like I can forgive myself for my own actions.
@@rusinip7383 thank you so much for tuning in! I’m thrilled this helped you. You absolutely can forgive yourself.
Love this❤ keep being you xxx
I agree. I have had a distinction of two diff types of friends - friends “light” and friends “strong”. “Light” friends are meant to be people you have light conversations with, maybe go shopping or doing something fun. “Strong” friends are the ones that you can lean on in hard times, you can be vulnerable with and you feel more bonded to. Great video and I agree your realness comes through in these videos.
Isabella , I remember working in retail some 30 years ago and the manager came to me and told me that my smile and bubbly personality is a lil sickening and can you please cool it down a notch . Can you imagine ? You’re correct when you say “ not everyone is going to like you “ I too have a hard time with this . even till today and I’m 65 yrs of age lol . When I became a manager , I made sure my staff was in tune with the customers that walked in . One day a lady walked in and I walked up to her asking if she needed help and she was very nasty but as I was trying to still help her I learned that her mother had just passed away and she was looking for a black dress I said to her I’m so sorry for your loss and I hugged her . Sooooo one never knows who walks in to an establishment and what happened moments before . I’m so proud to call you my niece Isabella . Keep it up love you 🌻🌻🌻
You gratitude and love that you share in this video can be felt trough the screen , thank you honestly, I can feel how this video is helping me embrace human connections, reminding me that not everyone is the same. My idea of friendships with males was indeed very corrupt, it kept me doubting and fearing my old guy friendships because I had always heard that guys only are your friends if they find you attractive, and it’s true that some are like that but now that I am older I have mett so many amazing humans, guy friends that feel like joy and peace and literally exactly what you talked about. Yet my old fears still creep up on me at times but this will always come back up in my mind and soothe my worries 😊 thank you.
Thank you so much for these kind words! I’m so glad it helped
This is such a beautiful message, I hope this becomes more normal in society… and honestly it is becoming a normal thing, and oww how it heals my heart!🫶 I wish schools and movies during my time (and before that) had stopped forcing this belief of girls and boys being so drastically different from each other.

Hey, this is just such a brave and kind video. I loved your point on social media. I'm in university studying advertising w a minor gender studies, so seeing this sort of communication is just so. relieving. I watch a lot of manosphere/ redpill content to keep my finger on the pulse of what's going down in those communities; it's important to me because if radical and ostracized folks are left by themselves, it tends to result with others paying the price. (at a certain point, this ostracization is imagined, and encouraged, but that's a whole other discussion) I've been watching that community grow at faster and faster rates. I've watched talking points generate as they happen, and have seen the fringe, equally-radical perspectives that are generated in response. Obviously, the videos made by men, sharing their views on the opposite sex and their own perspectives on masculinity, are a product of their experiences. But there's such a culture around it that people don't fight back. They don't correct themselves when they're proven wrong, by good, kind women. They might realize that their experience didn't line up, but how can they be wrong in the face of the incel movement? The amount of misinformation that it takes to become disillusioned about what's happening right in front of you isn't all that much in the end. What you shared in this video is word for word what these same radicalized individuals have expressed needing to hear, and I want to recognize that you really didn't gain all that much for that vulnerability. Getting out there, doing it yourself, is genuinely such solid advice. The best part about it, is that it's scalable. And what you asked from the people who came here, was not to do a 180 on their beliefs. It was to keep trying. Give it one more shot. Anyway. What I mean to say is: I've been looking for this video. In this tone, from this perspective. Many videos like this tend to share some unfortunate ulterior motives of the creator, but this one didn't strike me like that. It felt genuine, brave, encouraging, and above all, it felt kind. Safe! Welcoming. Keep it up, I'll watch some other vids of yours, I'd love to hop in a call and chat about some of this if you're down. And sorry for the essay lol TL;DR: Based take, I'm grateful. This is what healing looks like, hug your mom, call your grandparents, kiss your homies goodnight.
wow. thank you so much for your educated and beautiful words. i absolutely agree with your perspective. i also watch a lot of manosphere content for the same reasons, and its a big part of why i made this video. i try to make my advice as feasible and realistic as possible because i feel that is something the self help genre is lacking. we're all just human. we need to remember that. thank you so much for percieving my video in such a positive light. that really makes my day. the way you describe it is exactly what i hope for people to get out of it. pls don't apologize! your feedback is important to me and helps me grow. i would love to hop on a call and chat! :)

@@candace3493 of course! Keep fighting you got this
I think in your situation, it could be. If you’re feeling sorry for yourself and that is what is causing it. However, many people don’t know what’s causing it. It’s like having an illness that is triggered but you don’t know what the trigger is. If there is a trigger and you know what the trigger is and keep partaking in said trigger, sure. But for me. I knew what was causing it. Working back to back days and never having a weekend off to reset and working nights along with evenings against my will. I have issues with insomnia. What I have learned to alleviate that until I found another job is to stop talking to everyone. 😂 I’m laughing because I truly think I’m neurodivergent. My parents are nice to me but anytime we talk, it’s about outside drama/gossip. I didn’t care what they were discussing but I was forcing myself to participate. Meanwhile, I was just diagnosed with an illness. I already have anxiety and MDD. My advice, along with yours, is to take some supplements like vitamin D or anything else that well help your mood that your body naturally needs. The point is, do whatever you can to make yourself feel normal, even if it makes others unhappy. As long as you aren’t actually hurting anybody. When I did this, much of the overthinking and consideration of others feelings went away. When I finally got a weekend off, I deep cleaned my house for hours. Even made myself dinner. She’s right about the processed foods though. They lack nutrients and it exacerbates your symptoms. Also, if you smoke weed. Stop it. If you drink alcohol, stop it. Also, please don’t overthink your food (like macros and stuff). We don’t want to develop an eating disorder. Overthinking is what causes stress as well. Reduce what is causing stress. Confront it if possible. Whether it's your work or your family. I personally wouldnt do caffeine if you have anxiety. But yeah. Start with cleaning and organizing your living space and go from there. A decluttered house is a decluttered mind. Edit: Personally think this video is more along the lines of how to alleviate depression that is circumstantial rather than whether or not it’s a choice. People don’t know that their phones are causing depression or that their food is causing depression or, if they got lab work, they are actually nutrient deficient. What’s that show called? Human Resources or Big Mouth. The big purple cat is sitting on your chest. Don’t let them win. ❤ Also, there was one time, my grandfather died, I thought the grief was making me suicidal. Turns out I was “very sad” but my birth control (a “light version” apparently that I was prescribed a couple of months before) was causing me to cry every day, see darkness and want to fight people. When I stopped taking it, the dark clouds cleared like magic. Find your trigger! I refuse to take birth control anymore as well. I’d rather live another day.
These are some great points. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I hope the right people that need to hear your message find your video. Continue being well and doing this good work ❤.
