Can you shout out my UA-cam account please

That’s engine cleaner? I am seriously considering doing that. Did yours backfire too? Mine does sporadically like every couple minutes and it’s scaring me
It was sea foam. the bike hadnt run in about 15 years. oil was sludgy when i changed it. spark plugs were fouled out. I took it for a fast ride after adding it to the oil. smoked alot then cleared itself. 105k or 106k miles, no further issues
Fuel pump needs to be primed un pung it and give it 12 volts to prime the line
I have a 93 K75 RT and the only time it smokes is if I leave it on the side stand (it brings the level of the cylinder below the oil level so it seeps in. Your issues may clear up! Mine didn’t miss a beat over a 10,000 mile trip this summer. Also, I gather from your video that you just purchased this bike….if so, the previous owner may have used oil shot down the cylinders to get the compression going again because it won’t create compression without it if it’s sat for a few months. There is a great UA-cam channel for people that wrench on K bikes….his name and channel is Chris Harris. Enjoy that old machine!
Very cool. I’m taking one on myself from 1985 soon. Which Facebook group did you say you were on?
Given the sludge that was in the oil filter cap, you should have also removed and cleaned the oil pan. It is not a difficult job. I have a k100 16v (73,000km) and I disassembled it completely, all the screws and all the bolts. You should change all the rubber pipes, there are others in the injection, if they get punctured the carburetion is altered. Also the water/oil pump given the miles should be overhauled to be sure not to run out. Also change the gearbox and bevel gear oil. Greetings from Italy!

If you use a tiedown strap through the front wheel and around the center stand, you can ensure the center stand won't collapse.
Used this exact method when moving last month. Your comment saved me alot of trouble. Thanks!
When the bike is on the side stand it wil leak oil into the 3e cilinder so it will smoke heavly first few miles. put it on the centre stand problem fixt its a tipical BMW K issue, thees bikes are bullet prooF!
Put the Seafoam in the gas tank, not the oil. Seafoam in the oil just before changing it will help loosen up deposits for changing, but putting it in your gas supply will help dissolve gummy deposits in your fuel system so fuel injectors/carburetors function as designed to improve combustion.
I did both. It fixed it! It had sat with the same oil in it for 15 years. It cleaned up the sludge.
Sounds sweet mare
Is that the original key for the tank? 😂
It had to be drilled out for some reason. I just use a screw driver:/
Thank you for posting! Keep the videos coming! I had a K75s for 15yrs, had to give it up when my knees decided they couldn't bend like that. Love to see these K bikes kept going.
I’ll definitely keep posting about the bike. Ive been enjoying it very much! Ill put as many miles on it as possible!
Awesome
Indeed 560 bucks well spend. Just get new tires and take it for a couple of long rides. It will run much better after that. The fuel lines and the fuel pump mount are not ethanol resistent. Replacing that will save you a fuel pump breakdown in the future. I had a K100 RT with about the same miles on the clock, had a lots of fun with it. Well maintained and used every now and than, they will last forever.
Thanks for the advice! Ill look into this! Im enjoying it!
560 bucks wel spend sir!
@@OngezoutenMening I agree! Thanks!

K Bikes FTW
@@flacko_ccc honestly!
All K series engines have oil in the bores. It was always a " feature " that K 's smoked on startup.
Good to know.
Great job!
These bikes have a tendency to stick the piston rings when not driven or only driven old man style, run really warm (15-20 miles) and do some high revs runs to free up the rings, it might take several runs!!
You are lucky guy to get this beast so cheaply ❤
Thank you! It was listen on marketplace since january!!😃
The brown color indicates water….
Its been sitting a while. It probably built up some water in there
Those 3 cylinders are indestructible when normally used
So ive seen!
Nice vid, I have four of them in my garage. These engines are almost unbreakeable….just put new tires on it, bleed the brakes and go for a long ride. Cleck valveclearance!…..I pulled a few out of hibernation and riding them makes them almost like new. Sidenote, the engines have very hard cilinderwalls, worn rings are not the issue, just that oil (I put 20w50 mineral in all four) is leaking when on the sidestand. But this you know now. You will Enjoy this bike!
Thanks! 200 miles in 4 days! Loving it!

What kind of car is that

That's fucking nuts. What's the model of the car?

Awesome. Thanks for sharing man 🔥🔥🔥
I love ol Volvos
Me too man!
I miss truly great engineering. I mean its horrible when they design newer cars to literally fuck with your day.
This is facts!
