Yes, prices have gone up quite a bit in the past 3 years! Those covid years made a lot of folks retire quicker and/or work from home in the South. Barefoot is such a great spot, glad you love it!

Hoffman Park will not have any sort of amenities. If you're looking for a pool/clubhouse and like this styles, I'd definitely recommend Coopers Bluff or Forestbrook Estates. This home is listed at $410,000! Folks around here have a wide variety of job fields, many now work remotely and have transitioned from up north to our area. A good handful have also retired and moved south!

Nope, not in a flood zone! Very few residential areas around that are. Typically close to the ocean or river would be.

This community doesn't have any sort of private beach area, I'd either suggest going to a public beach access in Myrtle Beach or in Surfside Beach. Pricing depends the floor plan, lot and finishes. There are spec homes currently priced beginning at $389k and go up to $599k.
