Every three minutes in the U.S., someone is diagnosed with blood cancer. These battles against leukemia,lymphoma, and myeloma often involve grueling treatments that leave patients feeling weak, cold, and isolated. But they don't have to fight alone.
Subaru, along with dedicated retailers like Sierra Subaru of Monrovia, is here to offer warmth, love, and support.Since 2016, we've partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) to deliver cozy blankets and messages of hope to nearly 350,000 patients nationwide.
Here at Sierra Subaru of Monrovia, we're proud to be part of Subaru Loves to Care® this June. Through this initiative, we're working with USC Arcadia Hospital to provide comfort and encouragement to local cancer patients.Imagine the difference a warm blanket and a heartfelt message can make for someone undergoing treatment at a familiar place like Arcadia Hospital.
We're taking our commitment a step further by contributing $10,000 to LLS's Urgent Need Pediatric, Adolescent and Young Adult Fund, which supports young blood cancer patients and their families in need of financial assistance with non-medical related expenses, such as groceries, transportation, and household utilities.
