Nice property though the color scheme and deco would have me feeling like I'm visiting my grandmother. If that's good or bad depends on ones taste I guess.The vide of the neighborhood is upscale Southern California or Florida with a similar population from what I observed in the video. Price wise goods and sevices sounds close to being on par with most of the US outside of the most expensive areas. Guess to me without traveling outside the area would one even notice they were in Mexico? Though again, if that's good or bad depends on ones taste I guess. With a puchase price of 750K USD (plus closing costs) it would only make sense to most if they were living there as a resident. As a rental investment netting 2K a month it would take 32 plus years to return your investment in the unlikely event you could keep it fully occupied. If only spending a couple 2-3 months annually it would be a much better investment to drop the 750k in a high yield account and pay rent with a fraction of the proceeds. Too much new unit construction in the area to bet on asset appreciation after the recent run up.

We live on Vancouver Island, where an equivalent rental would be a minimum of $5000. A nice dinner out with a bottle of local wine will cost us $200 with a tip. Don't even get me started on grocery prices!

I’m still in Vancouver but moving to PV in October. I have a place in Lazaro Cardenas that I’ll be renting when I land. I would love to live in 5Dec but would also like to check out Versalles too, so I like that I’m kinda in between the two of them. However, if I could afford to own this property, my preference would be to own in Concha’s Chinas instead.

We only go to Nuevo for the immigration office then leave. It feels like a community of people who want to "live" in Mexico but feel like they're back in their home country.
