Interesting at 0:13-0:14 there are two 747's, nice to see such big birds at B'mouth.
ahh fantastic , Thanks!
@Titanairways I was stood outside the Bournemouth Flying Club cafe. Its a great location to just sit and watch the planes!!
Fantastic filming , where about's did you film?
Ahhh okies cool :)
@aircraftspotter94 Because they were talking to the tower telling them they weren't getting a very strong signal or something along those lines. They had been experiencing problems with the system throughout the day, hence questioning the Easyjet pilots.
Nice vid but how do ya know he was using autoland? :)
It looks great I am really looking forward to participate if I'm accepted.
@CaptainMum Thanks for the quick response. I went to the EPTA open day in Bournemouth and I'm really considering doing this course. Do you have any advice, or interesting experiences you could tell me? Also, are there any negative points I should know about?
@holylemonimthat The course is relatively new, only currently in its 4th year and as it is generally a 3 year course, with the optional third year, there are only a few people who have actually completed the course. If you look for Cabair you will find something as they provide most of the training, the degree part is run in partnership with Kingston University, in London, so you could look at them separately and that should give you some results.
CaptainMum Hi Captain Mum, I'm really interested in applying to this course as soon as I finish college and seeing as you have studied this course I have a question if that's okay with you. I was reading through the fees and funding on their website where it said 'Eligible students can apply to Students Finance England for a tuition fee loan to cover the full cost of tuition', did you go for this option and if so was it easy to get the requirements for eligibility. This is because for a while now I've been really interested in aviation particularly flying the plane side of it, however when it comes to the cost of the training especially when my parents combined make roughly 20k a year, I stand no chance, 😳 so coming across this course and particularly seeing that student finances will fund if you are eligible has got my hopes up and really happy again. This is why I wanted to hear an opinion of a student who's studied this course in the past and hear what they know and their opinion of it if that's okay with you. Thank you very much for your time and good luck with your future as a pilot! Wish you all the best.
Does cabair / kingston have good employment stats? I can't find them anywhere on internet. Any help please?
