Congressional App Challenge

Modeled after the Congressional Art Competition, the House Student App Challenge promotes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education by recognizing and incentivizing our nation's young programming talent.
As our Congress continues to grapple with technology policy issues ranging from privacy to intellectual property, the House Student App Challenge gives these Members more hands-on experience with technology and entrepreneurship by connecting them with young programmers in their districts. This will help them legislate wisely on issues that enable the United States to compete in a global information economy.
The Congressional App Challenge Coalition is a private sector group that proudly serves as the official STEM advisor to the House of Representatives' Student App Challenge.
